We wouldn't consider staying anywhere other than at Bridgeside when we visit Looe. Sammy always provides a warm welcome for his guest and does all he can to make people feel at home. The location is perfect. Reached via some steps off the street and looking over the river, it's just a few minutes walk away from the center of...

Only stayed in Looe for one night but have to say the Bridgeside Guest House was lovely. Sammy, the owner, was so welcoming and couldn't do enough for his guests. His breakfast was excellent. If I was returning to Looe would definitely stay there again.

Lovely welcome on arrival, assisted with luggage to room. Room very spacious and clean. Nice touches, tea & coffee, water, hairdryer, tv & wifi. Very comfortable. Given time to settle in and then provided with a tray of tea/coffee and biscuits. Sammy gave time to sit with us for a while and chat. Breakfast lovely. Excellent service throughout the whole...

Came to Looe for a short holiday, and this B&B was just fantastic. Lovely room with everything you could need, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The B&B is only 5 minutes from the train station and a short walk to the town shops and the sea front - a perfect location. Could not have been happier with our visit -...

The position of the hotel was excellent. Just across the bridge into the main part of Looe. Convenient for the shops and harbour. And, as I found out the next day, only 3 doors away from a relation I hadn't seen for almost 40 years ! We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival with coffee and biscuits delivered...

My partner and I stayed for 1 night on Friday and were not disappointed. We were early and arrived by train which was 5 minutes away, Sammy greeted us and offered us coffee and tea before we ventured out, as it turned out, the room was ready very early and we were able to check in. Our room was big,...

Sammy could not have made me feel more at home. He greeted me with a cup of tea and some biscuits and advised me on where to go for dinner (I would second where he suggested and highly recommend The Golden Guinea -freshly cooked food, generous portions, good value and friendly staff). Sammy also upgraded me for the night from...

Spent a very enjoyable 3 night break at the Bridgeside Guest House. It is spotlessly clean,in a great location and lovely views of the river. The owner Sammy is a first class host, very welcoming, knowledgeable about the local area and cooks a mean breakfast. The other staff members we met were all equally kind and helpful.
