Visited Falmouth as part of a tour and after walking around the town felt like a drink and a light lunch. Wonderful welcoming bar staff, good beer and wine and excellent sandwiches and light lunch. The charming barmaid gave us a demonstration of how to light a roaring fire which in November added much to the atmosphere of the bar....

Stayed for just the one night in the mini suite, was very well looked after and absolutely lovely breakfast which sorted the previous night's excess right out! We stayed in Falmouth for an unexpected second night but alas no rooms available at PoW so ended up in a shocking place elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again, thank you Jayne and...

Stayed overnight on Friday - came to Falmouth for the Oyster Festival. We had the mini-suite (Room 3). Absolutely brilliant, spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. Had (several) drinks whilst watching the band in the pub. Really friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. Will definitely stay again when in Falmouth. Breakfast was superb also. Highly rated.

Stayed in the mini suite with views over the pier. The room was spotless and Dave and Jayne (the owners) were really hospitable and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was well cooked and wholesome. Would recommend. Parking is available a short walk away and the pub is ideally located for visiting the towns restaurants and public houses.

Stayed a couple of nights. Comfortable budget accommodation. Small pub, with live music some nights. Fine for what we required. Very welcoming. Parking just up the hill in public car park - can stop outside to unload - recommend you use the pay by phone option for the parking.

Nice en-suite room with views over the pier and close to all Falmouth attractions. Good, cooked to order, breakfast and great music on 3 of the 4 nights we stayed there. Jane and Dave are helpful hosts as are all the staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Room was spotlessly clean .we had the mini suite with a day bed in the lounge and a comfortable bedroom .the bar has a lot of character and serves a good selection of beers and ciders I can recommend the Guinness. There was live music on the night we...

We chose Prince of Wales because it was central to where we wanted to be in Falmouth and we wanted a pub experience after a number of hotels. We were happy with what we got. It wasn't upscale, but it was centrally located (the pier is named after the pub). Just walk out the door and you're on Falmouth's high...

Very quiet pub, bartender didn't seem too interested. Had one drink and decided to walk out. Maybe for some people it is for them but for me unfortunately didn't float my boat. Looks very dated for a bar and should be modernised. The one good part is that it costs only 50p for a game of pool what's fantastic.
