I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. Location: Wonderfully rural - which does mean that there are a few miles of winding lanes to get there! However, my satnav took me straight there using the postcode. There is plenty of parking. The inn has extensive gardens which are fun to explore and, in summer, would be very... More

Hi Thank you for the review and glad you enjoyed it. We apologise about the confusion with breakfast we can always do earlier breakfasts with a bit of warning as we understand business customers have to get to work. The room you booked is advertised as just having a bath if you prefer a shower we can do that in... More

The Trengilly was my stomping ground when I was 17/18 to about 22 years old. Mike was the chef and there was a three legged cat. Had fabulous beers and pints of delicious cooked prawns. so was with some trepidation that my husband (he was my boyfriend) when we last visited went back for an anniversary meal. And my it... More

We haven't stayed at the Trengilly Wartha for a few years but when we returned for our recent trip we remembered why we love it. It's such a friendly place with great service & you feel so relaxed as soon as you get there. A great location for exploring Cornwall but then you can go back to the pub for... More

We booked this hotel for our sons graduation from the local university. 4 of us with 2 small double rooms as they were described. we arrived after a tortuous journey down some of the narrowest and most terrifying roads i have ever driven on in the UK.. there is no easy / comfortable driving in this area and believe me... We stayed here for 3 nights and had 2 evening meals, including a 'group dinner' for 25 guests, as well as breakfast. All the food and service was excellent, there is also a great selection of wines, spirits and beers on offer. The staff were very courteous and helpful!

My husband & I had forgotten how much we enjoy being at Trengilly Wartha! We spent 4 nights recently in one of the garden annex rooms ( perfect if you have a dog) refurbed since our last visit with good bed, plenty of space, comfy settee & chairs by door, and great shower. ( could improve on softness/thickness of towels... More

I organised this reunion dinner for retired colleagues and partners by phone and e-mail as I live 3 counties away. I had not been to Trengilly for over 20 years and went on reputation alone. Communications were excellent, Lisa and Will adapted a great menu to our choosing and the price at £25 per head for 3 courses and coffee... More

Near Constantine & Gweek in a quiet rural valley. We stayed in a garden room and this was ideal for us. Immediare impression was of being basic and sparsely furnished but in fact there was plenty of room for our dog, it was very clean, the bed comfortable and a good shower in the ensuite. Also seating and a separate... More

The Inn is perfectly placed for visiting all local attractions and towns. Their food came highly recommended and you will not be dissapointed. Staff and owners could not be more attentive. The Pub is querky and full of character with huge choice of beers. Our room was ideal providing a great nights sleep

Exterior appeared derelict and needed some attention. Room was spotless so no complaints there. Restaurant and bistro were empty but the bar was buzzing and a great atmosphere. Food was average 'pub food'. Breakfast was very disappointing given the reviews and the fact it had won awards. Staff were helpful. Enjoyed the visit because it was an 'experience and fun'... More

sorry but this pub is not derelict it is painted from top to bottom every year, We employ a painter and decorator for 4 months every winter. As for being expensive the reviewer is welcome to buy the business and cut all the prices and let us know how they make a living. We do not serve average pub food... More
