Myself and my partner stopped over here for the weekend. The location was perfect could not have been a better choice. The guest house its self was lovely and defiantly value for money. Iain was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and tidy with all facility's there to make your stay a comfortable one. The cooked breakfast...

We booked a long weekend 26th to 28th September. Ian and staff were extremely helpful allowing an early check in to allow for us to go to the Races. Whilst the rooms are not over large they are certainly adequate and spotlessly clean. The breakfast were good and the deal offers excellent value for money. We can certainly recommend it....

This place is perfectly located and quite well priced.. Lack of parking adds about 12 pound a day to the cost so drivers beware. The rooms were refurbished some time back and are showings signs of wear..a little more maintenance would have made a big difference. Also there is no lounge for guests and as the rooms are quite small...

Many thanks for your review. I thnk you have made some very important points. I am pleased that you thought your stay was good value for money as that is our main aim. We have avoided turning the Guest House into a boutique hotel expressly because our rooms are small. Our guest house is a 3 storey georgian town house....

Recently stayed here for 1 night as a treat for my boyfriend's birthday - what a fab find! Such a great location, about a 2 minute walk into town where all the bars, restaurants and shops are and a 5 minute walk to the river. Paul & Cathy were brilliant hosts and looked after us from the minute we checked...

We had a lovely stay here, a modern, clean and comfortable room, compact though everything we required to enjoy our stay. Very nice full English breakfast, with lighter options available if required. The guest house is situated right in the heart of the Chester, ideally located to get about though it could be a little noisy during late evening, not...

Don't miss the full english Breakfast- it will last til after Lunch. We were chatting away with the Owner Iain and had really fun!

Breakfast was good every morning, room was comfortable and clean. The hosts were great, and the site is very well placed with all the major attractions on Chester nearby. Also parking is good. Will definately recommend to friends and family. Lots of pubs nearby too!

Stayed here on a business trip. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Staff service was immaculate and there was even a little book of nice restaurants etc to visit in the area. Only down point was the towels were hard. Other than that- perfect! Would stay again!

Many thanks for your review. I wish I had the solution for the towels. The laundry who deal with the sheets tell me that i need to tumble dry them to make them soft. I have been unwilling to do this thus far as i can dry them outside and i dont like the environmental impact of using a tumble...

What a great location, in the very centre of Chester (walking distance from all the attractions), with a very friendly, helpful and welcoming host.. Our room was quite small but spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The cooked breakfast was also really good. Excellent value for money.
