Stayed for a 2 night break with my wife with the intention of visiting Chester, including the Christmas market and Liverpool. What a fantastic break it was, Chester as always is a great place, as is the great little village of Hoole where the Brooklands is situated, a great village with good amenities, including shops, small supermarkets, hairdressers, good pubs...

My wife and I stayed in room 4 (top floor), which was satisfactory for a one, or two, night stay. We felt the room was a wee bit cramped i.e small floor space in the shower room (although the shower unit itself was of adequate size); and marginal space between one side of the bed and wall (about 12" wide...

This B&B is in a good location if visiting Chester being only 15- 20 minutes walk away. You will also find bars selling food, shops and a supermarket very close by. There is a bus stop outside with buses running every 15 minutes into Chester. There is a car park with a space per room. We found Mark & Remina...

Spent 3 nights at this lovely clean and cosy b & b. Only 15 - 20 minutes walk into the city centre, but there is a bus stop outside, with buses running every 12 minutes or so. Hosts Mark & Remina are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Mark kindly gave us a form to register for a...

This is a great place to stay if you want to explore Chester. The room we are staying in is spotlessly clean with lovely thoughtful little extras. It is a quiet location perfect for a relaxing break. We are staying in room number 5 which has a HUGE bed! (Very comfortable) We can't wait to explore Chester Zoo tomorrow and...

The two owners of the B&B are reliable and trustworthy. They make great food. Beds are exquisite, very comfortable. I've stayed in Room 5. The room is clean and well put. It contains a twin-sized bed with great cushions, a bathroom complete with shampoo and toothpaste and a table set with snacks and tea. The owners' son is intelligent and...

My boyfriend and I chose to stay here for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. We were greeted upon our arrival and given a great introduction to the B&B and also the local area. There is a selection of bars, restaurants and small convenient stores in the local area within a few minutes walk of the B&B. We chose to...

Very traditional b&b, pretty well situated off a main road, but close to small, suburban 'village'. Parking a little tight. Large old house and room was clean and a decent size. Bed comfy. Wifi and TV fine. Good breakfast but had to be pre-ordered. Friendly hosts gave a good recommendation for dinner. Quite happy.

Just stayed for four nights with the intention of using it to visit Liverpool but only went once in the end. Brooklands is ideally placed for Chester Zoo and the city itself as the bus stops are almost directly outside the door. The owners are very friendly and helpful with recommendations for rating and transport ideas. Breakfast was a highlight...
