Stayed 2 nights mid December. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I used the spa facilities which I thought were excellent and very reasonablymore priced. The room was clean and large overlooking the water. The only down side was the breakfats, we defiately expected for the price of B+B,it was very average- sausages were poor standard, fried eggs had...

Room acceptable but bathroom needing upgrade. General facilities, reception and access desperately in need of upgrading. Well located for town despite concrete flyovers. Fun lunch/evening meal canal trip available.

Staff were friendly upon arrival, good location. HOWEVER, rooms extremely small, dead skin and hair found on the floor - rather disgusting. We did not complain but when asked if our stay was ok, simply explained why it was less then satisfactory, the disappointment being that staff did not seem too bothered. Free parking until 1pm on day of checkout....

Recently enjoyed a Christmas lunch at the Mill Hotel with a group of friends. The choice on the menu was excellent and I opted for the prawn and smoked salmon starter, following by turkey and Christmas pudding. All well-served and as always hot. We then could 'dance the afternoon away' to the resident DJ. Very well organised as the restaurant...

This is our third visit in four years to the Mill, and find that the high standards of the hotel is consistant. My wife is disabled and find the staff there more than helpful, in fact they went out of their way to help here. We had a lovely room on the third floor very clean and a nice walk...

We visited this hotel for the second time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Whilst there I dropped a pearl earring down the sink. We asked the cleaners not to clean the sink and explained what had happened. We were hoping to try and retrieve the earring later that day after shopping. On our return we found a nicely printed out message...

The hotel room we had was adequate but there was a film on dust on top of the skirting boards and the furniture had seen better days. The staff were this hotels strong point, they could not do enough for us and if they did not know the answer to a question they went out of their way to find...

The service in this hotel was excellent. Reception staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Good, quiet location just 5 minutes walk from centre. Breakfast meal nothing to write home about but served in nice, intimate atmosphere. Restaurant staff also very good. Rooms fine.
