A lovely, comfortable place to stay with well-appointed room and very helpful, friendly owner. We only stayed one night to break a long journey but we will back when we have more time to explore Chester. The breakfast was hearty and most enjoyable, too.

Pam was born for this role! A friendly welcome, clean and warm room, and a delicious breakfast using local and good quality ingredients. Would definitely recommend. 20 minutes walk to town centre from this lovely Victorian house.

A very good B&B based just 10 minutes walk from Chester city center. We stayed to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and couldn't have found a better place to stay. It has on site parking for 2 - 3 cars. Pam is a lovely host who is exceptionally attentive. The breakfast was lovely and really couldn't fault. The rooms are...

We stayed a long week-end at Victoria Lodge at the end of July, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Pam is a lovely landlady - warmly welcoming, informative and helpful. Our room was on the first floor - set slightly back from the main staircase, and therefore very quiet. It was spotlessly clean, warm, spacious and comfortable. It was well furnished...

We used Victoria lodge cycle hire to hire a tandem to take us around Chester for the day. Booking was easy and very flexible, all equipment we needed was supplied and there was a great selection of local cycle route maps to guide us around on our real ale trail. Highly recommended anyone to hire the tandem for a day...

A quiet and comfortable Victorian Lodge. Spacious and tastefully furnished. Excellent value. The owner has created a warm and welcoming guest house. Attention to detail is apparent: for example a flask of cold fresh milk is provided on arrival, for tea/coffee. Location in Hoole is excellent. Just a few minutes walk to Chester Station and about 10 minutes to the...

What a lovely welcome on arrival. Everything from start to finish was easy. What a fabulous host, and the breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend a stay here, not far from all the towns amenities such as shops, zoo and local stores. The host went the extra mile to make me and my families stay perfect. Made a friend...

I stayed here on Saturday night after looking everywhere and asking prices around this particular area. The double room was very nice and comfortable, just what we were looking for! Great night sleep! And not to far from the centre of Chester. Warm welcome by the owner, who does a fantastic job at making sure the cleanliness is spot on,...
