Went to the Kazia spa for my birthday treat. It was a lovely relaxing day. The staff were very attentive, the afternoon tea was delicious and the staff doing the treatments were very professional. The pool was very nice. It was a quiet day ( Monday in April) so we got beds by the pool. I did think if it...

I have just returned home from having a " gluten free, afternoon tea to realise there must have actually been some form of wheat in it to have my stomach expand and bloat the way it does if I eat wheat. I rang and spoke to the restaurant manager who was as helpful as she could be, but she said...

Very busy gastro pub with a great atmosphere and comfortable seating arranged to give a pleasing sense of space. Family friendly, very good service but the wait for food was a little long and the quality was at best average.

Really enjoyed weekend stay at this hotel. Lovely room, good service and restaurant (both the bar and main restaurant) pretty good. Enjoyed spa treatments and gardens - made this a most relaxing stay - will definitely revisit

We stayed here for two nights, and the accommodation was ok- there were scuffs on the walls, and chips in the sink... but nothing you couldn't get around(just was not really expected based on the luxury feel the rest of the hotel gave off). The breakfast was ok, but we had an omelette, and it was quite chewy! The hotel...

We booked our wedding here 18 months ago and it was our special day two weeks ago. We've experienced a general stay, various meals in Nelson's, my hen do, a couples spa day and our wedding day. We cannot fault the hotel at all and the staff have always been very attentive and nothing too much trouble for them, especially...

Stayed here for 2 nights for an easter break. The hotel and room was lovely, clean, friendly and well kept. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived and during the stay (explaining what there was to do and the best way to get about). We had breakfast both morning and an evening meal in the Nelsons bar which...

I booked this hotel as part of a few days away for my boyfriend's birthday. The location of this hotel is perfect; it is a short car journey to Chester yet is away from the hustle and bustle of a city. The village of Pulford was lovely too. When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and informative staff and...

Went here on a spa day deal booked via Spaseekers. Felt relaxed & special as soon as we walked through the door! The staff were all really helpful and friendly and the spa area is very serene. The pool / jacuzzi / sauna / steam area is nice and nothing particularly special, but what sets this place aside is the...

Can recommend visiting for meal at lunchtime or in the evening. Good choice of menu and good quality. Service is always good and friendly. I have had a number of dishes but can recommend the thai curry for evening or steak pie. For lunch panini or omelette good value. Don't forget the curly fries.
