I had a single room. The hotel inspector wouldn't have even stayed in this room. It smelt of paint. The wallpaper was just about clinging onto the walls and the heating didn't work. Looked like they had slapped paint over the mold in the bathroom....More
Two things. 1 no lift in property and I was in attic. Room OK. 2 hole in ceiling by skylight which leaked as it was raining. TV had hardly any signal so could not watch all channels and WiFi did not always work in attic

I'm here now, there's a small bar opposite reception but it was u staffed and unclear when/if it will be in use. They do breakfast for about a fiver, I won't be trying it, the Town Crier, a few doors down looks a better bet. It's a Wetherspoons type place, not everyones cup of tea, but it looks clean, modern and busy with a good crowd.
