Totally recommend! It's just a few minutes' walk to the train station and less than 20 minutes to the old town of Chester. Graham does a great job! Very helpful and on hand. Very clean, comfortable rooms, I would book again. :-)

Great place to stay in Chester. Good location . Great facilities . Clean , well equipped , nice garden . Good communication . Would stay here again if in Chester. We were up for the Liverpool cup final the hotels in Liverpool were charging extortionate prices this place is only 30 minute drive to Liverpool.

Oh, I wish I'd found this place earlier! It is just a brilliant find. It's location is perfect, whether travelling by train or bus. It's quiet, and has such a wonderful laid back vibe. Graham is such a good host, he's friendly and helpful, and makes everything so relaxed and welcoming. I met some nice people in the huge kitchen, and lounge area, too. I can't recommend this place highly enough. 5* Absolutely LOVED it!

We arrived at the B&B and everything was fine however when we Arrived We were Greeted with a nice welcome however we started having problems when we were starting to hear strange noises coming all accross the house and at around 2am in the morning we heard banging our room door and also trying to open the door with a key however with no explanation to be explaining that. I would not recommend staying here as graham refused to give a refund as we left 3am in the morning almost ended up on the street and struggling to find another hotel last miniute and having to spend another £80 for another room. Dont stay here, weird things happen there very creepy.

Having lived in Chester previously, I came back for a Christmas do with friends. I booked into the Bunkroom overnight. Great location close to the station and car parks, clean and nice decor. I had an amazing night’s sleep - the bed and pillows were excellent! Great amenities, tea and coffee supplied, full kitchen, sofas and tv. Nothing to fault! All very straightforward and a great sleep. Thanks!

We stayed at the Bunkroom for 3 weeks in November and it was great. The staff was really wonderful and I would recommend it. The rooms were good and the price was very reasonable. The staff and the owner were all lovely and this made it much more comfortable to stay here for so long. The only issue we found was that there was a slight leak in our bathroom and the hot water often ran out if several of us had showers around the same time. Other than this small issue it was a great place to stay and I would definitely go back.

Kitchen is nice but when I stay in a hotel, I dont want to cook. Did I say they have a great tv.well they have. Its like being at the movies

The staff here are very friendly, and go out of their way to take care of their guests and make sure that they are comfortable. This is a hostel that I found it really easy to feel at home in. The facilities are really clean, and the location is perfect. If ever we land up in Chester again, we will definitely come and stay at the Bunkroom again.

It's the cheapest place in the city, but you do get a lot for your money. Ensuite dorms, fully equipped kitchen, large TV/dining room and cosy outdoor chill out and seating area. The hostel is situated just around the corner from Chester station and about 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. Reception has limited hours but the friendly staff are happy to make arrangements outside of regular opening times. I would recommend this hostel.
