Firstly I feel that the reviews that this hotel has received are extremely unfair! We stayed for two nights on a group on deal on arrival we were greeted by friendly staff we were able to leave our luggage until our room was ready as we had arrived early but we were told what room we would be in. The...

This hotel is within walking distance of the town as it states on the hotel spiel. The buses and train station are literally at the end of the street, so a good place to stay for getting around. On the advice of the receptionist we caught a train to Liverpool instead of driving in. Good decision. Cost £5.10 return each...

handy for station and staff let us leave our bags in a room before we could check in and after checking out, enabling us to walk around city unencumbered. room was immaculately clean in all areas with smart decor, room 101 did not have bedside table on both sides of bed(a minor issue) close to city centre, ..approx 15 minute...

Booked a good deal on Groupon to stay here for 2 room & breakfast for husbands birthday surprise treat. Arrived early booked in lovely friendly member of staff called Toni on front desk, gave us a map of the area and local info. Went to the room given which I have to say I was disappointed with, what I saw...

stayed in room 2, lovely view of barbed wire & fire escape. Mold on bathroom tiles, dark and dingy. Six in our group each had different rooms all as bad as each other. wouldn't recommend to any one, very expensive to. Have stayed in better hotels cheaper with breakfast included. Avoid this hotel !!!!!

Cant fault the hotel apart from it looking old and dated but it is only a 3 star. The staff was lovely and friendly. The room was big with a large double bed, single bed (beds was very comfy) and a couch with wardrobe, draws, dressing table all nice and clean. Bathroom good size and clean. Close to the train...

Booked a high floor, booked an extra large bed, got an extra large bed on a low floor, in a very small room that you couldn't walk around the bed as the corner of the dressing table was just about touching the bed. We managed to change room although on the same floor it was better, very sparse and tatty and tired....

We stayed at the Westminster as part of a Groupon B&B deal which actually turned out to be good value for money. The hotel is a 10 minute walk into town and right next to the train station so good access. The hotel can look a little bit tired in some areas however it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast...

Booked in today. Lovely hotel, a wee bit tired possibly but first impressions are lovely and clean. Bedroom is very comfortable. The very large double bed is obviously two large singles pushed together which, to be honest, is not unusual! Bed sheets were beautifully crisp and white with decent pillows The furniture and fittings are a bit scratched and worn...
