Wall lamps hanging off the wall .Massive hole around toilet where you could see under floor boards. Mattress all I can say was minging. Never bothered with...

Arrived today to check in after booking 5 weeks ago, couldn't get in and was told by a person inside, who refused to open door to speak to us, that hotel had shut down a few days ago. We had no phone call or email to inform us and had to find another hotel at ridiculously short notice.

the pro's were it was affordable and the price included breakfast, the location was good, it was pet friendly, and we were allowed to leave our case at the hotel the day we left so that we could enjoy a bit more sightseeing. However, the beds were not that comfy. I was originally put in room 2 and there was...

i booked the Eaton hotel for a night away for me and the hubs. i knew it was only 2 stars so i wasn't expecting the Ritz, however i was a little disappointed. The bed was uncomfortable, and the tap in the ensuite fell apart in my husband's hands. when we visited the lift was broken, this meant a journey...

The location of this place is great, literally walk out of the train station and you're there. I was here for the Chester Marathon, thus I stayed overnight from the 3rd to 4th of october. I was looking for somewhere cheapish to stay since I'm a student and it was a one night thing and found this place after many...

This hotel is not the best and not cheap for the standard of the room. The lift wasnt working so rooms on the third floor wasnt ideal start to the stay. The room door locks are a joke its like russian roulette trying to lock them even worse trying to unlock them. Some of the people they were friends of...

The Eaton Hotel is an older, probably Victorian, building situated alongside the canal. It is a small hotel in a street with several modern, larger hotels. In my view it offers good value for money as a base for exploring Chester, or as I was, for an overnight business trip. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable. The shower...

I stayed at the Eaton August Bank holiday weekend 2015 to celebrate my friends' 1st wedding anniversary. We were 2 couples & had requested rooms nearby each other. Nope - we were a floor apart - one above the other. My room (6) was large & clean enough, except some short hairs mysteriously appeared in our basin on the 2nd...

Had approached this hotel and booked by telephone as required a hotel where our 13 year old son could stay close to us, and were allocated an "appropriate" room by the staff. Arrived late afternoon on day of arrival and were checked in quickly and efficiently and given room keys. Told to use the lift to get to room (very...
