A great place to meet up with friends. The drink range is good for a pint of bitter. Staff are friendly but not alway efficient; bar staff getting the drinks wrong and not listening when told not to use contactless payment method! The food was really good and very tasty: the fish platter was just the right amount with the...

An all round excellent place. Most places fail in some areas when they try to excel at two things but this place has it just right. We stayed for one night but we were made very welcome by the excellent staff and the facilities were great. Our only slight issue would be that the heating system is noisy in the...

Myself and 3 friends visited the coach house last night and didn't want to leave!!! The staff were really friendly and the food was amazing, the duck with blackberry sauce is a must to try, mmmmmmm. They have an offer on in April for half price bottles of house wine on a Friday and includes prosecco. We had such a...

This place is fantastic... I booked here as a surprise little break for my hubby's 50th Birthday. We stayed Sun-Tues, and really could not have picked a better place. In the heart if Chester, easy access to everything that Chester has to offer. We parked at The Markets multi storey car park just by the hotel, and for 48hrs only...

In fairness we stayed on a Saturday night in May 2016 but it was probably the loudest hotel room I have stayed in. The room itself was nice, the breakfast was good. We had dinner there as well which was also good without being great. Just not quite 5 stars but still a decent stay.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback! It's always lovely to hear about guests and their stay - be it last week or last year! Unfortunately, with Chester being such a busy and eventful city - especially in May with the beginning of the races - we do struggle with external noise. This is...

For the sixth year in a row we celebrated the Christmas season at the Coach House Inn. This in itself tells you what you need to know: it's a great restaurant. This year I chose something different and has a salad which was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were varied and fresh and I could ask for no more! The wine...

Went for drink with my husband while visiting Chester. Old pub with new trendy decor. Seating comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Ordered pint of ale, large glass wine and 2 bags of crisps £11!! Eek! Perhaps I'm out of touch with bar prices but thought this was bit extortionate and to top it off I was served by a bar assistant who...

The Coach House Inn really matches the character of the City of Chester. My wife and I stayed here following a trip abroad and the comfort of the room, friendliness of the staff and quality of the food and drink helped to settle us back home to the UK.

We have had lunch at the Coach House many times over the past years, but this was the first time for our Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. The beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and vegetables were excellent. As was the service.
