This is a great bed and breakfast, and the host Al is amazing! It's not in the centre, but that really doesn't matter as it's on a bus route straight into town which takes ten minutes from outside the door. And because it's not central it's very quiet. Even the front rooms on the main road are really peaceful thanks... More

This is a very good b&b, run by an excellent host. The location is in Cambridge but not in the city centre - it is a good 40 min walk into town. But the b&b is on one of the main bus routes, with a bus generally every 10 mins so you can get into town fairly easily. As the... More

I travel a lot and having such an accommodation and care everywhere I would be the most satisfied person of the world. Autumn House Bed & Breakfast - spotless clean, bathroom working properly, comfortable bed, coffee and tea in the room. You will find everything in this house or room, what a traveller might need (inclucing plug for Europeans). Marvelous... More

Al the owner is fantastic! Super friendly and easy going, he makes you feel very welcome from the moment you walk in. The breakfast was really good, he asked and cooked them both to our specific tastes (I like runny sunnyside, she likes hard-boiled ect) Slippers, earplugs, shower caps were all provided without having to ask. It's all these little... More

I've stayed at this B&B, or recommended it to others dozens of times over the last decade. And they have never been anything less than perfect. The couple that run it are very friendly, and are full of help and advice for we ies to the city. Ask yourself this, have you ever seen a B&B with over three hundred... More

An absolutely delightful place to stay and where you are made to feel very welcome from the moment you step over the threshold. Once booked in, Al the proprietor gives you a prepared map highlighting places to see in Cambridge and recommended places to eat, together with bus timetables to and from the House. His attention to detail goes further,... More

All the previous reviewers are correct, this is a wonderful B and B run by the amazingly friendly and helpful Al. Outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown but with easy access by bus which stops 1/2 block from the front door. Large rooms, comfortable beds and excellent en suite with wonderful shower. Al will help with recommendations on... More

Immaculate rooms with sparkly clean modern bathrooms and convenient location with town, the river and even a public swimming pool very close by (walking distance). The breakfast was quintessentially English - perfectly poached eggs, delicious mushrooms, Lincolnshire sausages, the works. Alternatively you can go for the healthy option of seasonal fruits, yoghurt, muesli - all lovely!
