This is an excellent B & B I have stayed there as a long term business guest twice now. I would most definetly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The landlady is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and it feels like a home from home. The breakfasts are top notch with plenty of choice.

I stayed two nights and had a really lovely time. The landlady was fantastic, really good at being the perfect hostess... The cooked breakfasts were also amazing - they kept me full for most of the day. The rooms are very welcoming and feel very peaceful. I think it was incredibly good value for money and would definitely go back....

A home away from home As a long-term business guest at this fantastic B&B, I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It is spotlessly clean, the breakfast provided is plentiful and the rates are very reasonable but the best thing by far is the warmth and hospitality given to guests by the proprietor, Margaret. What a wonderful lady!...

I spent a lovely 3 nights staying at Appletree House. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Margaret was very accommodating and extremely pleasant- so friendly. The English Breakfast I ate every morning set me up for the day. And nothing was to much for the attentive Margaret. She told me we where to go in Cambridge. I definitely will...

I was a 'long-term' guest at Margaret's fine establishment and there is little more to add to the wonderful words already written by other guests. Here is a summary of all the good things: reasonably priced, Breakfast with a capital 'B', homely atmosphere, clean, comfortable, power shower, real milk in your room, choice of pillows, close to good bus service...
