Beautifully British, super cosy, perfectly clean, incredibly comfortable (especially the bed). The place was tastefully designed and very well looked after, the breakfast was freshly made and delicious, but what really made this place so special were the little things: soaps and creams were organic and made in Scotland, the selection of teas in the room was carefully selected, the...

My friend & I stayed at Lynwood House recently, & highly recommend it to all. It's a short, pleasant walk into Cambridge centre and an approximate £7 taxi ride from the train station. The decor is tasteful, the breakfast tasty & our room with ensuite was spacious and clean. It's not the cheapest place to stay, but worth a little...

I am used to staying in four star hotels on business so I am fairly used to luxury. This however was a private trip and I stayed here for two nights from 27th to 29th of November. It fulfilled all my expecations and more and in my opinion was well worth the asking price. Some people here have complained about...

We stayed here for four nights in early December. Nick and Julie go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Our room (4) faced the back and was quiet, very well appointed with top quality fittings, the en suite bathroom down two steps, with a huge shower. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice, cooked to order...

I was there at Lynnwood House in June 2015 for a week and I enjoyed my stay in Cambridge. I could walk back and forth from the city centre and Cam River with ease. Nick and Julie were fantastic and very friendly. They made me feel at home away from home.

I stayed 4 nights at Lynwood house with my friend. We came for an exam preparation 2 days course at the university and it was our first time in Cambridge. The room was clean, comfortable and the interior design was amazing. We felt like home. Nick and Julie were super nice and welcoming. Breakfast was superb! Lightened up my day!...

we stayed at Lynnwood as a group of 4 female friends visiting Cambridge Winter gardens. We could not have been at a better place both in terms of comfort, position (easy walk from centre and best pub), level of attention to welcome and catering. Great place, great hosts, will definitely return.

I stayed here on a recent business trip, and although it is not the type of place I would normally stay on business, it really helped me to relax in the evening and forget about work for a few hours to enjoy the city. The hosts were very kind and helpful and it was a very cute place! I stayed...

I stayed at Lynwood House with three friends for a weekend at the beginning of July. I had great hopes for this B & B from the friendly and efficient way my request was dealt with by Julie back in March. We arrived, very early at 12.00 noon, but even though Julie had only arrived back from holiday 15 minutes...
