Decent sized room, immaculately cleaned and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of pillows and towels. The shower was powerful and hot. I had room 1, which overlooked Parkers Piece- currently boasting a host of daffodils and a solitary duck. Despite overlooking Regent Terrace and by the front door, it was pleasantly quiet. Which I'd found this gem...

We pre-paid our booked via our usual booking company, and then phoned the Regency for details of their parking and another options. We were offered 1 of the free Visitor parking slots outside and given details that a pass would be available when we checked in. We also then requested a quieter room, and were given room 10 on the...

The website says free parking but it's limited so we've had to pay to park in a multi storey 5 minutes away. It says breakfast included but when I asked where it would be served they said we would be charged. It says ensuite bathroom but ours is across a shared hall - I should have brought a dressing gown....

Sorry to say I completely agree with the other reviews. The hotel is tired. The rooms are small. They haven't been cleaned properly, I they didn't make up the room. We went on a very cold weekend in February and the room is freezing there was one very small electric heater in room number 10 which isn't sufficient heat the...

After reading the negative comments I was worried I'd booked into Fawlty Towers. The room was clean, spacious and well presented and the guesthouse was located centrally. We paid £132 for a double room with a shared bathroom and no breakfast. Compared to other hotels in the area this was a very reasonable price, overnight parking in the Queen Ann...

Our first impression from the outside was a bit "oh dear". The torn and dirty canopy, and dead weeds outside did not present a good impression. However, once inside (accessed by a numberlock - code given on confirmation email) the decor was clean and fresh and the room pleasant enough. I was slightly perturbed by the sticky patches of the...

My husband and I payed £105 for one night so we could spend some time in the city. We would liked to have booked in at the given time of 2pm and had been given a number to call to arrange free parking near the house. Over the space of a couple of hours and 9 calls later, we were...

Very conveniently placed for the Corn Exchange where we were visiting that night. We came by train so walked from the station. Once we found Regent Terrace we walked straight past the guest house in the dark. The light above the canopy was not working so we could not see the name. This led to several frustrating minutes walking up...

My wife and i stayed here for one night when visiting the Cambridge Corn Exchange to see Jools Holland. Despite instructions and a parking permit we still got a ticket the following morning. Stayed in room number 2, very small and later on very very noisy with other residents coming in.No shower gel in shower, poor water pressure. Decor was...

Nice and nicly renovated and very centrally located, room 1 with a nice view on Parker's piece, the house is noisy, walls are thin. We had room 1 next to the main entrance, ensuite bathroom with shower, the sink couldn't handle the shower's amount of water. Many restaurants nearby, booked via booking.com, didn't get additional information mail (due to technical...
