We loved this place despite everything. To be objective the room was a little small, since we booked it on the premises that it had two separate beds (room for three) and it turned out to be a chairbed wedged in between the double bed and the wall leaving no room to actually open the bathroom door. With some alterations...

Arrived in the evening and had to wait for about twenty minutes to go to our room. Booked a twin room - there was a double bed and a pull out sofa bed. The bed seemed ok but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, lumpy, quite dirty and looking like it was about to fall apart. Had to ask for...

Started off fine, evening staff in pub were friendly, had an evening meal which was just fine. Room was a bit basic and smelled of stale biscuits, but otherwise alright. Separate shared toilet and shower room, which, when we got up in the morning had no lights working. Performing ablutions in the dark was a challenge. Went downstairs for breakfast...

The room was very small and basic but nice and clean. We inadvertently booked with a share bathroom and were unable to upgrade due to the rooms all being filled for the night. However, the share bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was good , fresh orange juice very nice.

Had to cancel a booking due to a death in the family. Charged me £70 Not once did the Waterman contact me. Rang up to explain and the customer service skills were apalling, can,t run a B and B I would avoid at all costs, not very nice at all .Beware they will take your money off you if you...

This pub was on a busy road and near to most amenities, shops, other pubs resteraunts etc. Car parking wasnt easy, but we got lucky and were able to park reasonably close on the main road. Very comfortable and a decent breckfast. Pleasant walk into town, but maybe a bit far for those with walking issues. Riverside walk just over...

Lovely hidden gem ideally situated 2-3 mins walk to centre and by a lovely river. Clean stylish room highly recommend ! Would stay here again. Great price. Parking is a bit of a problem though, lots of pay stations but you have to repay every two hours during the day

Good location, outside the city centre but plenty of buses, just next to a bridge over the river and very pleasant riverside walk through a park. The Waterman is nicely decorated and fanatically clean - would even pass the scrutiny of those harpies on 'Four in a Bed' with flying colours. Pleasant dining area, excellent breakfast. charming staff. The double...

Staff friendly and helpful, it was his first day though. The pasta portion I got was decent and the sauce was excellent. Beer is good but expensive but for Cambridge probably average prices. Would go again.

Stayed one night at The Waterman. The accommodation was clean, bright and well maintained. Our room had an en suite shower room which was spotless. The staff were friendly and welcoming, allowing us to leave our bags before we checked in and delivering them to our room. Great location on the river and near to a city tour bus stop...
