The positives: Overall the room and bathroom was nice and clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice, modern looking and had a bath with a shower in. The room had a wardrobe, a full-size mirror, dressing table, couple of chairs and a tea tray with a bottle of water and a selection of hot drinks. The staff were really...

Friendly and well-organised but our room though clean was pretty shabby. It was very hot, even though the radiators were turned off and the room faced the road, so with the window open it was like trying to get to sleep on a motorway. It is in an excellent position for both the station and the centre of town.

Stayed for one night travelling with family members. The room was good for the one night, had a kettle, biscuits, plenty of towels and shower gels etc. Had been freahly painted also. The bathroom could have done with an update but was still functional. The beds were a bit hard as were the pillows, but that was for us, other...

Although a decent looking place from the outside I found this hotel a great disappointment. The bathroom was particularly poor and swinging a cat would be quite an achievement.Breakfast was functional and okay.

Me and my sister stayed at the Lensfield for two nights as part of a girly getaway in May 2016. If I were to do things differently, I wouldn't go in May as it is exam season and most of the colleges are closed to tourists. I wouldn't go Sunday-Tuesday because museums are closed on Monday so we were unable...

It is a homely hotel and ladies spa in lansflied road of Cambridge. Small hotel of abput 40 bed rooms, their sevice is good and staff is courtious. With a restaurant and bar, and nice cosy rooms, it gives a feeling of homely atmosphere. A good place to stay in Cambride.

Small room, paint peeling off ceiling in bathroom and an unpleasant damp smell. Bathroom required refurbishment and the bedroom decor updating. My room did not look like the ones shown online. Had to pay for room on arrival and not at the end of stay, as is usual. Disappointed with stay. A shame as the hotel could be lovely.

A lovely little hotel. Close to major attractions. And very comfortable. Great choice of breakfast, both full English and a very interesting continental. Close enough to the Fitzwilliam to pop in more than once. Will definitely return

this family-run hotel is in a great location, near to the station and to town, good value, very nice selection at breakfast and attentive service - kudos to Anna, the Goddess of the Grounds (coffee, that is); my single room was just that, small, but all that I needed; washroom a good size and the shower roomy with very good...

We stayed at this hotel last year and enjoyed it enough to book again this year for a one night stay. Nice rooms, clean and tidy, and within 20 minutes walk of the city centre. There is parking on site (if you're lucky) otherwise parking is on the streets nearby.
