We booked this hotel for a weekend in Cambridge and picked it mainly due to the location. It is ideally located - only a ten min walk into town, 5 min walk to the station and cinema and minutes away from from all the shops, theatres and colleges. Everything is on your doorstep and there's no need for taxis or... More

Our double room was in the attic. With reduced head height ceilings. Had to turn the pillows to bottom of the bed to ensure we did not knock ourselves out if getting up in the night. Also very hot up there in the attic. Good free parking. Really nice hot breakfast.

This hotel is in a great location just at the edge of the city center (5 to 10 minute walk in). We stayed there as we had an evening booked at 'The Junction' music venue which is just a 5 minute walk away. It's also very close to the Botanical Gardens. The room was clean and freshly painted and towels... More

Small room with English charm and a surprising bath. They should improve the curtains so that no clarity at dawn.   The room was freshly painted and clean the room, bedding and towels has been very good. Normal english breakfast, well not many quantities. Staff hotel very friendly

I tend to stay here three or four times a year when visiting my Cambridge office. The main attraction for me is the convenience of the location - as well as being right next door to my office, this hotel is five minutes walk from the station, and ten minutes walk from the city centre. This hotel is dated -... More

We stayed here for two nights over the bank holiday weekend. Rooms are small, dark and very noisey if you want fresh air. Parking is free, along with wifi. Breakfast was by far the worst I have had. Would not stay here again.

I have stayed at the Centennial several times as it is near the station and absolutely perfect for me, although there is adequate parking, which is a major factor in Cambridge. The hotel is perfectly situated for commuting in the the city centre which is a few minutes away. I have always been happy with the rooms, the service and... More

This remains an interesting hotel, but one notices how it is gradually being improved without losing its traditional character. There is a programme of refurbishment, especially evident in the bathrooms. Some rooms are rather small, but beds are comfortable, dinners, while not haute cuisine, are generous and enjoyable. Drinks prices are very reasonable by hotel standards - and the bar... More

We travelled to Cambridge to collect a car and decided to spend a night there to break the journey. The Centennial is very traditional in style but was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hotel is very central with access by foot to the bars restaurants and sights of the town. We had a room facing onto the street but... More
