I had an emergency and needed somewhere in the area.. I booked in here as was exactly where I needed to be. The staff were very helpful and showed me where to go. Breakfast is included in the price so an absolute bargain. The room was a single, but spotlessly clean, had a fridge, kettle and wardrobe- so everything I... More

Stayed for two nights whilst working on Oxford. Unfortunately I have an extremely tight boss who doesn't like to spend on overnight accommodation for his workforce. If it wasn't for the early start on the first nights stay I would have kept my bag in the van and drove back to Cardiff. My room was probably seven feet square with... More

Was forced to stay here through work. If you're paying for a room it's better to pay for one somewhere else. Shared bathroom is a big no no for me. Stinky bathroom with hairs in shower and dirty drivers with no sense of hygiene as their only customers dumped there by their employers looking to save a penny

Have just walked out of this place, absolutely terrible place, grotty, cheap and nasty. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Knocked for next door to turn TV down. Phones the number and had a mouth full of attitude and ignorant as anything. Told me to pay for a taxi for him to come up to the hotel... More

Most of the doorways were the same width as my shoulders, the room was smaller and with less facilities than a prison cell, TV remote didn't work, towel didn't get changed all week, showers would suddenly go scalding if someone used a tap and didn't seem to be anybody there staff wise to speak to about it as I was... We felt lazy and had seen this place a few times so thought we'd try it. During the week it seems to be a truck stop but when we called there were more cars and bikes than trucks. There's a great choice for breakfast, it's cooked for you so no rewarmed bacon, there's a veggie version, plates are hot and... More

Have stopped here for breakfast several times this year, whilst on business in the area. Good choice of breakfasts, freshly cooked to order, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended, and guaranteed you will not leave here hungry

Chris' Motel is just off the M40 near Stokenchurch and is a popular night-stop for contractors and HGV drivers. The plus points: The room was... clean cheap (just over £30 B&B) bed was comfortable the flat screen TV though small worked fine and was angled so that you could see it from the bed. It had the usual Freeview channels.... More
