Stayed here for a Friday night as a birthday treat for my partner. We stayed in the Moliere room - which was quirky but very comfortable. Dinner menu had a lovely selection, was reasonably priced and food was delicious! Wine list was equally good. Breakfast the following morning was very good. We will definitely go again, and will recommend it.

This was the second time we had been to the Three Horseshoes and because the first time we had a really enjoyable time we decided to take our guests there. We arrived at the restaurant to find that they had placed us in a dingy area in the bar. The outlook was the main road, the tables were uneven and...

We received a very cool welcome on arrival and were just pointed in the direction of our room for the night, the Loxborough room. The room had a very pleasant view, overlooking the small rear garden, weeping willow, a pond, fountain and submerged red telephone box. The only downside to this was the noise of conversation and cigarette smoke from...

Stayed here for one night as a treat. When we arrived it was early evening and it's was thundering and lighting and raining heavily. We managed to squeeze into the bar area for a quick drink , as all the other tables had been set up for evening diners. Our room was at the top of the Inn over the...

Lunchtime Friday 30 August. Have eaten there occasionally for 4 years. We took some good friends for their first visit. Firstly no serviettes on the table and we had to summon young dumpy waitress in order to get wine list to order. She was brusque and seemed preoccupied. eventually we managed to place food order. At that point ten or...

We held a part for 24 of us at The Three Horse shoes on a Sunday and it could not have gone better. The marquee was set up so we were in there and had 3 tables of 8. Bubbly was flowing on arrival and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The food was fantastic and everyoe has come...

Review of restaurant only, did not stay here. Visited the inn on Bank Holiday Monday lunchtime. Not surprisingly, all tables in the restaurant were fully booked, however it was such a lovely day that it was preferable to sit outside and take in the stunning views of the countryside. The staff were efficient and courteous.Chose to eat a risotto which...

Looking somewhere for Sunday lunch, we hit the search engine as we were in the area, this lovely looking place came up. Arriving, place looks clean, nicely kept, busy and smelling good. Grabbed a menu, not a huge selection especially for vegetarians. Asked what else you could offer 'we'll put 2 on the plate'. Ok, I let that one go...

Thank you taking your time to both email us and attack us on trip advisor maybe 1 would have been enough? We are sorry you didn't like what we do, but it appeals to the majority as the other 80 dinners on Sunday lunch left happy. As we have a small fresh menu and don't cram it with vegetarian items...

The title of this review tells it all really, I chose this place following a recommendation and was so glad I decided to stay here before a morning meeting in north London. The cost/value ratio here is incredibly good, an excellent individually designed room in a fabulous location with a very good restaurant and great beers. Dinner was chosen from...
