I stayed at The Malt House for three nights while I was visiting my elderly mother. She was anxious about catching Covid so I could not stay with her. I was so grateful for the luxury of being in a beautifully cared for room, with so much attention to detail. I needed space and time to prepare for the visits to my mother and it was priceless for me to be able to come and go smoothly from the house, the door opening with a code and light showing my path through the lovely garden. I felt honoured to be able to share the gracious house and to have the balance of privacy and the felt warmth of Arie, who is offering a thought through and deeply inspiring form of hospitality. Thank you.

Property's Favourite Review
The Malthouse is a hidden gem. We had tickets for the theatre to celebrate our anniversary and wanted somewhere near by! I was expecting a nice clean room, but my goodness, did they exceed this! The room was spotless. The bed, large and comfy with immaculate white linen. They offer everything you might need to make your own breakfast, there were snacks in the side and more treats in the fridge. The owner delivered a small bottle of wine each, fresh berries and a card to help us celebrate! The water pressure in the shower was also excellent, in the large bathroom, was cotton wool, ear plugs, bubble bath, gowns and slippers and eye masks. They have quite literally thought of everything! The plug socket was even next to the mirror - trivial but annoying when it’s not! The best customer service I’ve experienced!

I really can not recommend this accommodation enough, immaculate, beautifully decorated, super touches that made me feel right at home. Arden could not do enough to ensure i was happy and settled. 5 mins from the centre of town. Although officially room only, I was provided with granola, snacks, porridge, fruit and fresh milk that easily fed me for a couple of mornings!

When my husband said we had a room with a shared bathroom I wasn't sold... How wrong I was. This place is wonderful, the attention to detail from arrival to departure is second to none. Every single area is furnished and decorated to a very high standard and looks amazing. We asked for a special dietary requirement of which was delivered and then some :-) My only issue is I now want to come home and redecorate my house. Well done Arie what a wonderful place you have made.

Easy to find. Good location with an easy walk into town. Lots of choices for places to eat. The Malt House is quiet with very secure parking. Our room was a good size with huge bathroom. Lots of nice touchs from the owners, makes this a great place to stay, if you need a base in in near Aylesbury. Dont miss the Kings Head in town centre dates from c1455
