Place is great to stay and rest, very nice design, the owner is very kind and happy to help or answer any questions. Good location is another advantage. It is located only 10 min walk from a town centre, near to gym or shopping centre and restaurants. One of the best places I have every stayed at. I recommend.

You really won't find better... beats comparable priced hotels hands down. Quiet, friendly and attentive. Extremely clean, warm and maintained to a high standard. Private and within walking distance of the town centre.

In our trip, we did not expect to find such a pleasant, clean and quiet place. The detailed information provided by the owner prior to our arrival was very helpful. It was like knowing the place in advance. The house is 5 min by taxi from rail station. The room was big enough, very clean and well decorated, giving a...

Good location in town centre, but secure as locked gates. House very homely & comfortable & proprietor friendly and helpful. Nice to stay somewhere more interesting and more homely than the usual chain places - I have stayed here several times now & I know I can rely on the high standards and hospitality offered

We found that the atmosphere was friendly and very relaxing. Our room had everything we needed. The location from Ardenwood to the local town centre was a 10 minute walk were we found shops, restaurants, pubs and a theatre.

Very enjoyable and relaxing place to stay, warm welcome from Arden, large comfortable room, great bathroom. Easy and secure 'self check in' system, all went very smoothly. This is the second time I have stayed here and it will not be the last time, well recommended.

This is a lovely property with secure off street parking and beautiful rooms which are very comfortable. Some have ensuite bathrooms and some do not. The proprietors are very well organised and helpful. Ideal for a short stay.

This is a lovely house, a gem of a property hidden in a private walled garden, an oasis of relaxation but within walking distanced of pubs, restaurants and shops and the town centre. The house is wonderfully decorated with the taste of bygone eras yet not old fashioned and stuffy, it's definitely not your average B&B. The spacious rooms have...

Booked at short notice, the room was extremely charming and comfortable. Near town centre so getting meals not a problem. Lovely medieval timber fram Malt house in garden in keeping with a lot of the properties in the area.

“I've seen all of the rooms on the first floor (second level) and they are all very nice and comfy. I stayed in one room on the top floor (single), and it was comfy as well. The entire property is within a walled courtyard, so all are away from traffic noise. Some have en suites, some not, but if not, the bathrooms are all nearby.”

“If you have issues with a "shared bath" the en suite room was especially nice. If not, please don't let the bath down the hall scare you. I promise, it feels like you're staying at your favorite Aunt's house.”
