Even though this is our local a stones throw myself and wife went for the first time to The Dog House. We decided to have a roast dinner as there's also 2 course and 3 course options. We both had starters which where enjoyable. But the roast first of all came was a massive Yorkshire pudding on a separate plate...

Deciding to go out for a Sunday lunch turned into a disaster. After booking at 2 we were seated at 2.30 our food arrived at 4. This consisted on a vegetarian roast with beef gravy on it and two other incorrect dishes. The waiter who served us was very young and new and tried his best however the maturer lady...

Really enjoyed a roast dinner here with friends & children. Good choice of meals. Very slow service, had to go up to the bar to get attention more than once. Nice location, although seated near the door where you could smell cigarette smoke from outside. Car park packed - no doubt a sign of great grub

We've had meals here before so for a family birthday decided on a late lunch. We had reserved a table but asked if we could move as the table we were initially given was close to a table of rowdy builders and it was freezing. We moved around the corner and it was quieter. A few of our party ordered...

We visited on a Sunday based on the menu offering roast duck on the website, so the first disappointment was this was not available on the menu. The pub has recently been refurbished however there are still improvements to be made, we were sat near a radiator which was covered in a substance that look like dried on vomit. There...

Stayed here for 2 nights on a Sunday and a Monday. Room and bathroom were spacious, clean and the bed was a good size and comfortable. The only negatives to our stay was that there were toiletries in the bathroom on our first night which we used, but these were not replaced for our second night as is usual in...

I absolutely love it here. The roast dinners are amazing and look forward to venturing here on sundays. Lovely fresh veg, well cooked meat and It's the only place I have ever visited with their own "tear and share" yorkshire puds, although, I prefer to do less of the sharing!

Attended on a very busy day. Menu of roast dinners only. 4 starters and all cakey puddings - which I'm sure would be lovely for those who like cakey puddings! I was disappointed with the service. I thought our hostess was a bit brusk at times, had to ask several times for the same things before it would arrive. Think...

This place I top notch for a roast in Aylesbury. The food is delicious and the sharer Yorkshire Pudding is just amazing! The Team working there are really friendly and just great. This placed wipes the floor with the likes of so called roast dinner experts! No names mentioned *coughs* Toby! Would recommend to anyone!
