Myself and the missus was attending a near by wedding and opted for this hotel and how pleased we was with our choice, arrived pretty late ( 10 pm ) but check in was quick and smooth no issues at all, had a slight issue with the heating but that was quickly resolved within minutes by a member of staff, rooms were extremely clean and comfortable we was pleasantly surprised at how big our actual room was ( 104 ) bed was comfortable although was two beds pushed together but for the price we paid you really cannot fault this place , we’ve stayed in a lot worse holiday and premier inns which cost double what we paid here, if we’re ever around the area again wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

Very nice, quality rooms with a large walk in shower. Nice to have water and biscuits in the room, not many places do that these days. Only complaint was that the pub downstairs isn't one of Wetherspoons better ones (despite the photos online which look amazing) it's a bit tatty, the clientele were a bit... Rough. And it was freezing in the morning for breakfast.

Myself and my dad has great 1 night stayover at yours which is pleasant. The staff were helpful and friendly and the bedroom was spot on and tidy being clean. The services in the pub was fantastic using the apps on your phone works well which is handy than queue in the bar. The bathroom was handy and bigger was easier. We shall be back in the future

A most amazing place to stay. The rooms are very up market with everything you need. We had an incredible walk in shower best I’ve ever had. You have the convenience of Wetherspoons bar downstairs with the usual excellent choice of food and drinks. The sound proofing in the rooms is extremely good, can’t hear the bar and little traffic noise outside despite being right in the heart of the town. This is a very well known and established hostelery at the bottom if the market square in this delightful town. Next door used to be the County Court and the Great Train Robbers were tried there. It’s a good base for visiting the Chilterns or even Milton Keynes if you fancy going to the shopping precinct. Train station only few hundred yards away, easy flat walk.

Weatherspoons pub, accommodation is lovely. Well presented clean and modern rooms. Check in easy. Friendly staff. Bed comfortable. Had a side room opposite the bus station. So quiet even for a Saturday night. TV had all free channels. Could not fault The Bell in any way. Would definitely go back .
