We stopped off at the Holiday Inn Express as the half way point on our trip to Cornwall. It was a clean welcoming hotel, and the staff were wonderful. We had the disability access room (40) and we were assisted with our luggage so that I could push a wheelchair, and we were

Room was lovely and clean and plenty of room for an active 3 year old. Breakfast was brilliant and great start to the day. Would stay again great value for money. Pub across from hotel good for Sunday lunch and also close to two supermarkets if you forget anything on your travels

Staff are ok, helpful and friendly, rooms are comfortable but no bath, drink prices are ridiculous, £2.75 for a small Tango, and the breakfast is terrible, hard bacon, cremated sausages, rubbery scrambled egg, dodgy orange juice, I will not stay in a Holiday Inn again, stay away

Hi rockape40, Thank you for choosing our hotel for your travel needs and for sharing your experience. I am happy to read you found the comfort of our rooms to be excellent and level of service from our hotel staff considerably good. Although, I am sorry the bath option, bar rates and breakfast menu leaves a lot to be desired. As our valued guest, these items are the most important amenities to consider when staying at a hotel. I am sorry for the less than impressive experience. We always ensure your journey with us is wonderful, the upper management will diligently check the areas for correction and the breakfast team will refine the menu selection for guest satisfaction. Again, thank you for your review and for gracing our hotel. I do hope we will have another opportunity to serve you if ever you are in the area to show you how we truly take care of you. Best, Zel N. Do you lock the doors after a curtain time ?
no doors are always open, reception is manned 24hours but they are in the back room. you need to be in view of a camera to tempt the staff out to the front desk. it's fine if you are on the upper floors but security on the ground floor is pretty crap.
