What a brilliant hotel. Excellent for business trips due to its location but also a very romantic place to stay. Delicious food and wine in the evenings. The bar also does very tasty cocktails. Very good service as well.

The Hotel Du Vin do the best events on the calendar, intimate, detailed and most importantly, fun. If you haven't tried one then just book yourself and friends an evening in one of there places. And if you go to the Bristol branch say hello to Grant he's the general manager there and a very good one too.

HdV provides a consistent standard of hotel and one knows what one is getting with them, I've stayed in 5 or 6 now and have the following comment about Bristol. When you say that the Courtyard is closed from 11pm then PLEASE close it and don't allow people to socialise there. Our room looked out onto courtyard and it was...

Fab anniversary treat. We were upgraded to the terrace suite which we previously had for our wedding. There was a card waiting wishing us a happy anniversary - nice touch. The breakfast and lunch were really good too.

Yet another wonderful stay at Hotel Du Vin Bristol. The room was great and a long soak in the roll top bath tub was a great way to start an amazing evening. Our meal was amazing and the champagne chosen for us by the sommelier was sublime. The management made sure the evening ran like clockwork. Staff were attentive and...

We booked a two-day dinner/bed/breakfast deal here as a post-Christmas treat and opted for a studio room, thinking the extra space would allow for greater relaxation. Alas, although certainly spacious, and even allowing for the age of the building and the fact that this is late December, we found the room to be so dimly lit that it felt like...

On arrival at the hotel we were welcomed by a lovely friendly receptionist . Our room was great big and a fab roll top bath . We had a meal in the restaurant which was very nice and then enjoyed a great cocktail in the bar. Really would like to return again soon.

Went for a bit of indulgence between Christmas and new year. Had a beautiful studio - lots of room - glorious bathroom with a walk through monsoon shower - though the bed was far too hard for me, and the characteristic boutique hotel 'atmospheric' lighting is a little depressing after a day or so. We enjoyed the brasserie for a...

On offer was the Christmas menu; 4 courses @ £39 and sadly no a la carte. Fair enough but when the booking was made a week ago, the reception should have mentioned this. Since we did not want 4 courses, they accommodatingly allowed our party to have three - so far so good. Fishy buffet, overseen by an unsmiling, dour...
