Excellent, clean rooms and a kind staff. The host, Liam, is a phenomenal cook and will make you pretty much any breakfast you like. The wifi is fast and the location is perfect. You're not too far from anything and the neighbourhood is safe and beautiful. Highly recommended!

Lovely big clean rooms, they are much nicer in person, the photos let them down. The host Liam was very friendly and went out his way to help us. We have even rebooked for our next contract and I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Though the room was comfortable it was very dated. The room wasn't with an ensuite shower room. The breakfast was minimalistic with not much choice. Should be priced £10 lower at £60 per night. We will cross this b&b of our list.

Had a very pleasant stay this weekend at Basca House, Very comfortable and has a very homely feel. Fresh milk was delivered to the room soon after arrival which was a nice touch, much better than UHT! The chap running Basca House is very pleasant and cooked up an excellent breakfast. Would happily stay again. Great location for the Gloucester...

Great location, right by Gloucester Road with lots of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Liam was friendly, informative and accommodating...started us off with a good breakfast and smile. Rooms are spacious and excellent, beds are comfortable. Live like a local in beautiful Bristol! I would stay there again.

Best BNB iv been till now. The owner are lovely people and make you feel at home. Hard to find bad point about this place! Clean, quiet, comfortable and well located. Liam, the owner is a well travelled person, a chef and lover of food. I enjoyed a lot talking with him.

I was travelling alone for three nights. Staying at Basca House is like visiting somebody's family. The house is beautiful, with lots of original features which makes it so much more homely than chain hotels and absolutely clean, everywhere. The price is right and compares favourably to other establishments close by. Given the choice I would stay here again rather...

We stayed at Basca House for a weekend. Staff were smiley and welcoming. I really like the spacious double room with the aroma of the lavender. Next morning, we went down to the dining room at the time we've asked for, to find a delicious breakfast and nice coffee were waiting for us. The staff suggested us the nice pubs...

I spent 10 days at the Basca House when in Bristol on business. Upon arrival I was greeted warmly and promptly shown to my spacious quarters. The bed was comfortable, there was a kettle with tea and coffee, a working TV, a sizable wardrobe, a great little sink in the corner and a view out on to the well maintained...

I had a very comfortable night in this cosy guest house. Impeccably clean, warm and quiet. Found the bed very comfortable with very soft linen and the room itself was spacious and very tastefully decorated. The oriental artwork through the house added an extra touch of character. Breakfast was delicious - the bacon was of very good quality and especially...
