Paid 90 with no breakfast included. Bedding was clean room quite run down but had a nice evening. Staff friendly overall nice hotel but a little pricey we had a jacuzzi bath which smelt like rotten eggs when we turnt it on which made the room smell all night was a let down.

Stayed for 1 night for a family party - paying £79 inc breakfast. Beautiful old house but really in need of a makeover The room was a good size for our family of 4 and the beds were spotless & comfy but it was let down by the dated decor and need for a deep clean. Plenty of hot water...

The stafff were amazing, under ridiculous pressure as there were not enough of them so they were doing 2-3 jobs each!!! This was down to the new owners Crest who seem to think a shoe string will do! All I can say is they will loose these amazing people if they don't give them the support they need!!! The food...

We arrived at the venue after a few hours in Bath, a massive room, gently shabby, but perfect for us. We had dinner in the hotel which was really good. Infact reading reviews i was concerned but my risotto was ace, and my husband, sometimes tricky to please was very happy. Bar was busy and friendly and the hotel staff...

Old building with character, furnishings old fashioned and generally in need of decoration, however the staff are friendly and hard working, the food is very good and we had a lovely time at the New Year gala dinner, which was well run. Our room was spacious and clean and we had a nice big bathroom. Breakfast was nice as was...

All meal choices were varied and more than tasty. Good bar area. Staff friendly and only to pleased to help out when needed. May...

Not enough staff on duty. The limited staff they had working were great. Room was clean and tidy. Food very small portions. Run out of tea mugs dinner plates cutlery it was a joke. Only thing missing was basil faulty. Will not be back.

Well after booking and paiing for a new year getaway we looked at the reviews, to say we were horrified was an understatement, we even tried to cancel and get our money back without success. On arrival the reception staff were lovely and very helpful, our room is big and spotlessly clean, comfy bed and big fluffy towels. The furnishings...

Beautiful old building, so much charme. Rooms are a little dated but staff super friendly. Our Dogs were welcome and everything we needed was in the room. Fair price, 50£ for a big bedroom with bathtub and very comfy bed plus welcoming to dogs is fab. Dont expect a superior room - or pay a price for it and go...

We had booked a Christmas Break here and after reading some pretty negative reviews of the hotel, it was with some trepidation that we arrived here. What apleasant surprise, although a little tired along the corridors, our rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful and the food excellent. We spent a lovely Xmas here.! Boxing day...
