Lovely little guesthouse in the heart of Bristol with quite possibly the comfiest bed we have ever slept on! The decor and cleanliness of the room (12) was great. The honesty bar was well stocked and reasonably priced as was breakfast. My husband had the eggs benedict which was cooked to perfection & I had french toast which was delicious.... More

The hotel itself is lovely but sadly the volume from the club next to the hotel (which plays music outside at full volume until 3am and starts again at 9am) means it is impossible to sleep. You can hear every word of the music in your room even with the double glazing windows shut. I have recommended that the hotel... More

The main thing going for the guesthouse is Marcin. He is so thoughtful and eager to please. One evening I came back to guesthouse not feeling well with a sore throat and he offered to make me tea and asked me what kind of muffin I would like in the morning. But our room (21) was another story. Flies were... More

Brooks guest house is in a perfect location (although difficult to find with a sat nav!) just 5mins from the shops and attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was lovely, clean and stylish. The beds were comfy. The only complaint is the noise- there was music and bottles being emptied until at least 11pm as... More

Brook house is centrally located and very close to the Queen Charlotte Street multi story car park. Access to the hotel is not obvious though. Although it's address is St Nicholas street, it's entrance is from a private courtyard off of a side street. We received a friendly welcome from the Receptionist who advised that we could not book in... More

While this is a city-centre hotel I expected glazing that could cope with street noise. I'm normally an excellent sleeper but was still awake at 4.30am this morning after hours with pillows clamped to my head and fingers poked into my ears. Awoke at 8.40am (by the fire alarm!) still with a ringing in my ears from the thudding-base music... More

We stayed for 1 night in an Airstream Caravan on the roof top. It was cool & funky. We thought we would try something different and it didnt dissapoint. It was clean comfortable & roomy for two of us. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was as good as any we have had in other larger hotels couldnt fault... More

Nestled to one side of St Nicholas' Market, the Guesthouse is well placed to take advantage of the great food on its doorstep. There was a warm welcome, fantastic breakfast and a tastefully minimal decor both in the main areas and within the kingsize double. Some small niggles prevent a 5 star rating: the mushroom coloured paint in our room... More

My husband, daughter and I stayed for one night to attend my son's graduation at Bristol University. They kindly allowed us to check in earlier than planned. The rooms are compact, clean and functional. There are tea and coffee making facilities which is good, however we did not try the breakfast as we ate late the previous evening. I would... More

This hotel was delightful, our room was spotless - despite having the larger of the double rooms it was still a little compact! The staff were lovely and location spot on! We missed out on breakfast due to there being no rooms available which was unfortunate, this was included in our price, but it from what we saw it looked... More
