Everything about this hotel is great; the rooms, service, breakfast, spa.....I would recommend to anyone for any occasion. For the level of luxury it is a very reasonable price too. It is in the heart of the city. I cannot think of enough words to praise it!

We stay here everytime we visit Bristol. It never fails us. I have too young children and they love the swimming pool. The family room is perfect for us. All staff are always extremely helpful and will go that extra mile to suit your needs! Always a pleasure.

A comfortable hotel. We were warmly welcomed and the room was spacious and very comfortable indeed. Sadly the two aspects that spoiled it for us were 1. It was incredibly noisy outside most of the night. This WAS two weeks before Christmas and we were in the city centre, but sleep was not a pleasant affair. 2. The cooked buffet...

Thank you for your time in providing your feedback, we were sorry that the busy, festive city centre disturbed your nights sleep, and we will ensure our Chef is made aware of your comments regarding the breakfast offering, we do hope this will not deter you from returning in the future.

As long as you get dropped to the right one (there are two Marriots in Bristol and I arrived at the wrong one originally) you are in for a treat. A lovely old fashioned hotel with excellent staff. The people I dealt with were friendly helpful and upbeat despite being extremely busy. The room was good and the conference I...

Stayed for a gig at O2 and the location couldn't be better; O2 and town all on your doorstep with bars and restaurants aplenty! Lovely exterior and parking no problem; there was a wait for cheque in but they were handing out free drinks to make up for it. Bar area lovely and fires roaring. Room was good, bathroom a...

We were in Bristol for a wedding and stayed at this hotel as it was close to the wedding. We had a renovated room which was lovely and met our expectations for a Marriott. We had the buffet breakfast the next morning which was very fresh and well presented. It was GBP 17.50p.p. not in our room rate. You pay...

The time for a refurbish is long past. The bathroom smelled and had paint and tiles peeling. The curtains, decorative pillows and bed coverings are old and worn. The mini fridge has been removed. Once grand decorations and amenities are downgraded and in disrepair or missing. Front desk was confused and kept changing their story, very inventive but very unhelpful....

Things in the room were starting to show their age a bit. The double glazed windows were screwed shut but still didn't do much to keep the late night street noise out so I guess the seals are shot. The communal areas are very nice and characterful, the location is excellent as it is very central with all the places...

Check in experience was appalling. then we couldn't find our room or understand why our room number wasn't in the lift with the others. after going up and down and wandering the corridors we discovered another set of lifts - should have been told. room was ok. nice bathroom except paint flaking on skirting and no toilet brush which made...
