Stayed for 1 night and got lower price booking via TripAdvisor. Location could not be better. Our room was not ready on arrival, returned a couple of hours later to find we had been upgraded to a larger room with comfy king sized bed, although bathroom was a little cramped. Spotless and well appointed. Overlooked Prince St. but heard nothing....

Epic position on waterfront, staff wonderful, hotel very nice however the nightclub across the way runs till two a.m. and is very present in the room, even with secondary glazing. Snoring from the room next door also was surprising to hear through the wall. We had a checkout problem with the cleaner going into the room before we checked out...

Dear Michael N, Thank you for the recent review. I am glad to read you enjoyed Bristol and that the hotel was perfectly located during your stay. However, due to the location, our River facing rooms do experience some noise. We have a variety of rooms throughout the hotel that face with toward the back, on to Prince Street or...

Very friendly staff. Rooms spacious with all usual accessories. We asked for and received a room on the top floor overlooking the river (and cathedral) which had excellent views and the double glazing meant quiet nights. The decor is modern and clean and there is a turn down service with complimentary chocolate! The car parking is free and next door...

This is a beautiful hotel with super facilities but don't book a room overlooking the river, it's very, very noisy! I am a fresh air freak and had my windows open; however, my friend had hers shut and was still kept awake by the noise. The rooms were lovely, we had loads of space and they were very clean. The...

Dear margaret g, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review on your recent stay. The hotels location on the Harbour side is perfect for exploring, unfortunately it does come with a noise factor on the odd occasion when facing the river. Location was great, easy to walk to everything and the restaurant was also nice with a view of the water and a yummy breakfast. However, our room was more like a single, the bed was tiny - we struggled to fit in it comfortably and the room itself was also very small. They also only left towels for 1 person...

I stayed at The Bristol on two different occasions both for a work conference and both times was pleased with the hotel. We decided to go to Bristol for a few days for our 45th wedding anniversary, specifically to visit the SS Great Britain, and wanted a hotel within walking distance, that also had car parking facilities.
