We stayed in the Shepherd's Cottage for a long weekend, it was everything we hoped it would be. Everything you could need, beautifully decorated and equipped, comfortable, cosy, relaxing and indulgent. The little extra touches: homemade bread, cake and Champagne are so thoughtful. A Corner of Eden is the standard that all holiday cottages should aspire. Thank you Debbie &...

A fabulous cottage and everything as described and couldn't fault. If you want to escape from it all but be within easy distance of everything the Barn is ideal. Plenty of places to eat or drink within the village and if you don't want to drive just put your walking boots on to go across the fields to the local...

We enjoyed a pretend Christmas in Angel Barn over the first weekend in January with our sons and their partners, for which the lovely big kitchen and sitting room with log burner were perfect. The bedrooms are great as well, but the standout thing is really the evident commitment made by Debbie and family in to creating this accommodation -...

Stayed in Angel Barn in early January - what a beautiful setting. The barn has been renovated to an extremely high standard, and everything has been thought of. Tasteful decor, lavishly equipped and a fabulous welcome hamper. Over the years, we have stayed at a number of very good cottages for short breaks, but Angel Barn tops the list by...

We stayed in the Angel Barn in between Christmas until New Years Day - 3 couples and a dog! The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, we walked to the local pub on one of the days but in all honesty every other evening and day we stayed in - there was no reason to leave. The facilities here are second to...

This was the second time in 3 years we (3 couples and 5 kids) have spent New Year in The Farmhouse at A Corner of Eden and both stays have been unbelievable. The Farmhouse facilities are second to none making it a real home from home. No other place I have stayed have offered welcome hampers (Cake, Eggs, Chocolates and...

What a find! Shepherd's Cottage - ideal for a romantic getaway - was just perfect for my boyfriend and I. We were celebrating our first anniversary the week after Christmas and this was ideal. Everything you could wish for and more. From the Aga to the log burner - keeping the whole place cosy. And the bedroom upstairs with the...

Debbie and Richard get you thinking about your next booking before you've even completed a full night's stay at Angel Barn. We spent an extended family Christmas at Angel Barn this year and also celebrated three birthdays. The property and its location are stunning. Debbie and Richard poured their own hard work into converting the property and it shows. The...

Angel Barn Where to start? We had a superb few (wet) days in Cumbria and A Corner of Eden was a wonderful place to be based. The attention to detail by Debbie and Richard is incredible, from the warm welcome and hamper, to the well equipped modern kitchen, cosy living room, to the fantastic main bedroom with four poster bed...

We were so lucky to find this gem in the Lake District. Amazing hospitality, comfy bed, aga, wood burner - dogs allowed - that's all I need but this was even more. Roll top bath - home made bread and cake on arrival - fresh eggs from the site chickens - this trip was incredible didn't matter that it rained...
