Did the 5 day 4 night trip in early November with a group of 4. Wonderful experience, couldn't recommend more. Took about 2 hours to get there by boat, followed by a short drive and another short boat trip. The lodge itself was nice, basic but comfortable. The hammocks in the common area were especially appreciated! The humidity was tough...

Boat takes approx 1-2 hours to get there, and even longer to get back - No biggie! Welcomed by very generous happy friendly staff. Accommodation good. Was very very hot when I went in Sept so def pack swimmers (Yes there is a pool here) . Forget the insect spray to a degree, it will only wash off with all...

We did the 3day 2 night stay at the lodge on water. Not sure that I would stay at the lodge again simply because at night there is so many mosquitoes and its just too damn hot but the lodge itself looked great and the activities we did were great too. Our tour guide Marcus was awesome and super nice....

It is really a adventure, with hiking in the jungle, fishing and swimming along with piranhas. Experiencing Indians and live in bungalows in the middle of the jungle. I loves it together with my family.

My girlfriend and I spent 5 days/4 nights at the lodge in mid-April 2016 and it was wonderful - a total immersion experience in the Amazon and jungle was what we wanted and what we got. The lodge is secluded and relatively isolated making you feel like an early explorer of the region. It is about 50 miles downstream from...

My one and only negative experience in otherwise fantastic country Peru. We were on a 3 days tour with accommodation in Dolphin Lodge. The food was very good, the room ok (except many holes in the mosquito net) but the guided tours were unnacceptable. 2 very young guides spoke almost no English (we bought a tour in English), there was...

Guide Raul had grown up in the Amazon and his knowledge of the wildlife, plants and trees was extremely impressive. Had some incredible eyes to spot some of the animals. Just did one trek into the jungle, and as in rainy season i think this made the mosquitos worse. Make sure you travel with some strong deet as the mosquitos...

We were a group of four friends, all women. And we went to the eco-lodge in the rainy season. Overall, it was fantastic. Our guy Davis was amazing he knew so much about the flora and fauna of the Amazon forest. He was very humble, honest and had a great sense of humor. Having said that it's important to know...
