We stayed for one night as a birthday treat and we had the best time, the staff are exceptional and the hotel offers wonderful value, with beautiful rooms and great restaurant. I highly recommend The Plough.

Came across this splendid hotel by chance on our way back to Kirkby Lonsdale and were surprised with the all round quality. Superbly furnished, polite staff and good food with nothing to fault. We'll be back to stay next time.

We ate here 5pm on a quiet Tuesday. 2 adults, 1 child. The food was amazing - fresh, tasty, good size portions and well presented. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The venue is spacious, cosy, smart and welcoming.

Staying the night here on the way to Scotland. What a find, our room is spacious and has everything we need. Everything is really good quality and very tasteful. The young staff are delightful, pleasant and friendly. Dinner was very good with a good choice.

Traveling South, used trip advisor to find a place to have lunch close by. Found the Plough on the app, it looked good so turned off motorway, and only a mile off our journey. Pleasantly surprised, nice decor, good food, nice staff. Deserts sounded great, so shared a few to share, and they were great. Worth a visit.

The burger was definitely home made and chips where nice. My only problem was total lack of taste ...just found it a bit of a...

We had an excellent meal in very pleasant surroundings. The food for all 4 diners was very good, we enjoyed excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. They took my food allergies very seriously and adapted my meal accordingly. We live locally and will definitely return with friends. Thank you.
