We had booked and had a secured booking with these folks and were bumped. Odd thing...we saw NO ONE staying there when we visited the Barkerville/Wells area. I would not recommend this establishment, there are better, secure places to stay in Wells. If you heed...More

It's unfortunate to hear about your dis-satisfaction with your booking, as we thought we had it resolved to the best of our abilities. We had hoped that consulting with you over a month ahead of your arrival and offering you a complimentary extra day would...More

We stayed at Mountain Thyme Getaway and were not let down in any way. We rented the whole guest house for a great 3 night weekend at the end of February so we could enjoy the Wells Gourmet Ski Tour and some of the other...More
Very cozy cabin in a cold December. It was well equipped for all our family needs. Full size fridge, two hot plates, pots and pans, coffee maker, shower and (the most amazing) bath, record player (with aux. cord), WIFI, books, games, tv, and DVD player....More
How many times do you get to live in a former gold mine prospector's cabin? It was certainly well-equipped as far as kitchen, bath and entertainment were concerned. The kitchen area although small had everything we needed and more. The all-glass shower stall was...More

HI 2002b...Our rates vary slightly with the season. The best you can do for accurate information is find our actual website, (which I'm not allowed to post, but which you can easily find in a google search) (stayinwells and bc). Generally though, at peak season it's only $250/night for a group of up to 6 and $180 for a couple. You get the whole, charming house and with the lower tax rate on this type of accommodation, it is only slightly more expensive than a single room in a hotel. Feel free to call us if you need more information...about absolutely anything in our region. Dave
