I was looking for a place to take my two boys (12 and 9) on their first fishing trip and I found the Duval Point Lodge. I was a little nervous about self-guiding with two kids in the boat but once we settled in it was exactly what I was looking for. A chance to spend time with the boys...

Heard about Duvall Lodge through a friend. Got picked up by boat in Port Hardy by owner Dave and felt at home immediately. Dave is a great guy, entertaining and definitely knows a thing or two about fishing. His wife Lisa greeted us on their private dock and arranged for the most epic day of fishing with angler Dave! Two...

Duval Point Lodge is a self guided fishing lodge that is located 10 minutes by comfortable and efficient water taxi north west of Port Hardy town centre. If stunning scenery, soaring eagles, fantastic fishing and the ability to set your own schedule are your cup of tea, then this is the place. I have just returned from a one week...

We stayed in one of their private cabins. Caught lots of fish. Great boats and equipment. Helpful staff. Great acommodations with no fancy frills for experienced fishers and those who like to cook for themselves. The salmon are everywhere. It will take a little more travel in the small boats to get to the larger halibut and ling cod, so...

Our group of builders has been going to Duval every July for about twelve years. Dave and his family took over a very run down operation and have been making steady improvements every year.. New docks, boats, motors, fishing gear etc. They improvements have really made a huge difference to our fishing experience. We have had a few conflicts over...

Excellent facilities in a wonderful part of the world, hard working honest family run business. Our second trip and certainly not our last, I would highly recommend staying at Duval Point, you're two minutes from the fish and there's lots of them!

We always catch quality fish and the Beckman family are great down to earth people and very helpfull. We would like to return there to fish every year. The Beckmans make you...

Had a great time with Dave and Lisa and their children. Even if you're not into fishing, what a great place to relax and take in Beautiful British Columbia. Highly recommend doing the charter out to Zone 10. There were 5 of us fishing, and at two separate times four of us had fish on at the very same time....
