With very limited opening hours this is an old style pub but I don't know how much longer it can survive in this location. There was a great choice of real beers and cider. Service was very good and it is a locals haunt.

Not seen many dogs inside the pub but there is seating outside. Hollybush at Makeney is a similar pub to Barley Mow (not far away) and I know they welcome walkers and their dogs.
