We have been told that the restaurant and hotel are closed and up for sale. I have been unable to confirm this, but driving past it several times in the last week, there is no sign of life and the place looks empty. I strongly recommend that you phone in advance to avoid disappointment.

Although the hotel has a friendly staff and the hotel itself is good (clean, good beds and pleasant rooms), we did not sleep too well on the Saturday 22nd August. Although we were visiting our friends who became married on this very day and had started their honeymoon in this hotel, another wedding party took place in this hotel which...

It is such a shame that this hotel like so many others does not make the most of what they could offer... Although located in a charming village and very nice external building, the interior decor is pretty awful and has no bearing to this stunning part of France. The room could be any room in a mid market busy...

We booked for one night as part of a trip through France. Met by friendly staff who spoke some English so we got by. Room was modern and clean. We booked a table in the restaurant and there's not a lot locally. This is where the surprise kicked in! The food and service was superb. I simply didn't expect the...

We stayed here two nights and enjoyed very much the charm of the hotel: building dating from 11th century, great service, nice terrace with a view on the parc, great restaurant with a view on the old church (see separate review).

Well, it is the perfect hotel for me, at any rate! Beautiful parc and possibility of sitting outside to just let the day go by, because from the reception (a charming young couple and other members of the staff) to the restaurant, to the rooms, the feeling of 'live and let live' is accompanied by the unfailing desire to be...

We were lucky to get the last room in this small hotel in Madiran. At first i was told by the young guy at receiption that there is no room available but the luckily the owner came around to receiption and he assisted us. Small room with no aircon but with window open and cool summer evening it was bliss....

Have eaten twice at this hotel restaurant and can highly recommend the well presented and delicious food. Service attentive and unobtrusive.Ate outside on the terasse on both occasions overlooking the fine garden.
