We stayed at this resort for 3 nights full board in January 2024. We did early morning and early afternoon safari's which fell outside the restaurant times. However.. When we came back from our first safari, we went in to the restaurant to see if we could have a coffee as we were both so cold from driving in an open top jeep at 4 degrees. Not only did they give us a coffee, they say it's down and cooked us eggs and French toast/toast and some local cuisine plus fruit. They couldn't have done more for us. The same thing happened the next day. (just for the record, we didn't have lunch as we were still full from lunch!) The following day, we came back soaked from sitting in an open top jeep for over an hour after an unseasonal downpour late afternoon. They offered us hot drinks then we got a knock at the door to ask if they could help dry our clothes for us. We were leaving for our next safari at 6am the following morning, and sure enough, the clothes were delivered to us before we left, all dry (they didn't have drying facilities there but they still got them done for us. I had a denim jacket which was ironed until dry, the same night). We can't thank you enough Abhay And Khamraj. (This was also done with love, no charge was applied.) This was really appreciated as we didn't pack many warm clothes as we were going to 30 degrees in the following couple of days so only packed the minimum winter clothes for this part of our journey. The food in the restaurant was brilliant. Really varied and if you finished one bowl, they were at your table checking if you wanted more. We tried and loved everything they put in from of us, so many different dishes. I'm hoping as we travel onwards, we get some more of these culinary delights! I'm going to add everyone's names who made this so special for us - Raminsh, Rajesh, Pacharam, Girdhari, Kaumish. And again Abhay and Khamraj. Honestly, thank you all So much for treating us like royalty. (if I've missed anyone out, I'm truly sorry as you all deserved a mention (even the young man who kept offering us water etc for our room)

We stayed here two nights, the first day we arrived early evening and had a warm welcome by the owner/manager. We stayed in the tent/cabins, really spacious and quaint furniture, king size bed and massive bathroom. A lovely veranda to sit out on. The next day we left at 5.30 for safari, the park entrance is approx 1km from Shergarh. They provided tea/coffee before we left and were waiting with breakfast when we returned. We made use of the spa facilities, a lovely facial for me and a massage for my husband very reasonably priced. The pool and sun beds were beautifully maintained and we grabbed a few rays before heading back for safari two - where we did get to see two tigers very close!

We stayed at this place as a family with kids and grandparents and had an excellent experience. We stayed in 2 cottage rooms and the rooms were large with lots of space. The gardens are large and well maintained. It has a tranquil ambience and the pool was very clean. The food served everyday was fresh and never repeated for the three nights and the quality was excellent. The staff are extremely attentive and always there to serve your needs. The location is close to the entry for zones 1 to 5 and very convenient for safari pick ups and drop offs. We would happily stay here again. The only suggestion would be to add small changing rooms next to the pool.

We stayed at the Shergarh hotel as part of our tour group for two nights. The traditional food and amazing Indian service was great here, you can’t go hungry. The hotels’ location to the national park means that getting to see tigers, or trying to see them, is easy. Very peaceful place.

We stayed in this resort for two nights and it was the best experience during our visit of India. The room, restaurant and gardens were well-maintained and kept clean. The staff was very hospitable and kind to all of their guests. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner included for our stay and all the food was delicious and freshly cooked. The staff in the restaurant made sure we won't leave hungry.
During our stay we had two safaris in the Ranthambore National Park. The staff took this into account for the included dining in the resort. We were provided with coffee, tea and crackers in the very early morning before the first safari. The staff even gave us blankets that saved us from the cold temperatures in the morning. For lunch, we arranged to have it earlier than usual, in order to be able to go to the afternoon safari well fed.
The rooms are well decorated and very spacious. The bed in our room was soft, which is not often encountered in India. We had a good sleep there. The rest of the amenities in the room were as expected for a 4-star hotel.
Thank you for this great stay!

Nice facilities if a little antiquated. The room was a padlock on the door. This added to the charm. There was no safe in the room. Was disappointed that we weren't given a tented room but the room was comfortable and clean. We had to wait for our suit cases but this wasn't the hotels fault as they were coming by road. The on site shop was reasonably priced for the merchandise and the shop keeper was very helpful especially when it came to insect repellent. We bought a few items from there. The food was good and the paratha excellent. There was a bar attached to the restaurant which was good as it was needed after the game drives. I would stay there again.

One night stay as we went for the safari. While this may not be a 5 star accommodation (a bit older but well maintained, nice outdoor pool ) it’s by far Exceptional service…5 stars!! The manager & staff were always looking at ways to make us comfortable. We had our breakfast lunch & dinner included in the room rate which was convenient. The food wasn’t fancy but it was good and when we asked for no spice for the kids they were able to make something for them. We even had a nice bonfire made for us after our dinner. Nice place to stay.

Lovely hotel, nice pool area. We had one of their new rooms, WiFi was unavailable and only got hot water when we went to reception to ask what time it would be available. They said 24 hours but this was not what we found. Not much choice of food.

Don't fall into the trap of the pictures of this resort, I visited this resort with a lot of expectations but this was my worst experience ever. They charged 9800 rupees for one night for the room which doesn't cost more than 3500 per night. Reception people are not polite at all. The buffet is very basic. There are no recreational activities like other resorts offering and even for a small bonfire they ask for money. And lastly the resort is located in a secluded location, no market or restaurant nearby. Plenty of good properties charging half of the amount and providing better experience.

Neither of us had a problem while we were there in late November. Lovely place! Be sure to explore Ranthambore Fort while you are there…I am considered a mosquito magnet by everyone in my family and am happy to report - one bite while we were there. We did take the precaution of using Malarone while in India. Spent the month of November traveling Rajasthan…beautiful!
