Stopped at the Weir after walking along the river from Walton bridge. it's a bit more down to earth than the Swan or the Anglers, the pub is very old fashioned, could do with a bit of an upgrade but has a nice traditional atmosphere and is not owned by a chain. Prices at the bar are a bit steep...

Visited with friends whilst staying locally. Food was fresh and delicious. The Whitebait comes highly recommended as does the steak and Guinness pie. All four starters followed by the meals were very tasty and piping hot. Stunning riverside location and very good friendly service. Will definitely visit again.

This place is all about the location. Situated on the banks of the River Thames just between Walton and Sunbury Lock it is a great venue for sitting and watching the world go by in a really peaceful setting. We did not stay here but moored up for lunch. Staff were nice and the pub food was fine with good...

Some time since last visit here sadly disinterested staff and significant drop in standard of cleanliness in general, makes further visits unlikely. Outside area large with considerable sitting area's for outside dining and excellent veiw of lock and passing boats.

I stayed yesterday in a lovely clean and quiet room with a balcony overlooking the Thames, wonderful! The staff are so customer friendly (a special mention to Callum behind the bar and Lorraine at breakfast). The food was good as well! Highly recommend.

Nothing wrong with the beer in this pub. But the pub owners are extremely unprofessional and they have a terrible cook. Ordered rack of ribs , which were decent but hardly any meat to the bone. Luke warm and quite dry. Not much bbq sauce either. My friend had bacon and liver. WITHOUT bacon. And another person sitting with us...

Even on a cold winter lunch time this pub is busy. With the thames rushing past it's door,it makes the open fire so homely. Great pub food menu , I had the sausage and sweet onion baguette . In the summer this place is mega busy so take a visit now while still in winter.

I've stayed here a few times now and it's my go to place when working in the area. I've stayed in a few of the rooms but my favourite so far is 2. Comfy bed, nice balcony, relaxing atmosphere all round. Food is pretty good fare considering it's a pub, and really well priced. Always well prepared and well presented....

Relaxing atmosphere with great food. Right by the river and a garden to sit, drink or eat in. The steak was superb. Almost couldn't eat it al...almost. Very helpful staff with a good understanding of what their customers needs are. Have stayed there twice - can't wait to go back. Thanks. Dave Watts
