Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast and had a big room to stay in. Maybe not to everyones taste but we liked it. As expected by staying in a nice old building as this one. It was just very good to stay here.

We stayed for two nights prior to a friend's wedding at different location in a nearby town. We chose to stay here based on previous reviews and how peaceful, relaxing and beautiful it looked and sounded. We arrived late Friday evening and was greeted by Rob and spent a few moments in one of the downstairs reception rooms admiring how...

I really enjoyed staying in this very comfortable and welcoming Bed & Breakfast. The building is beautiful and the hosts very welcoming (for example on the night we arrived they were only too happy to light us a fire in the drawing room so we could sit, drink wine and read books).

We had a really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful old manor house. The house, and our room, were full of original features including a four poster bed with lovely views over the countryside. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed speaking to Rob (the owner) and his friendly dogs. Rob was very flexible allowing us to check in early and...

We spent two nights. Three adults in three very different rooms. The house is beautiful, full of character but the decor is a little tired. The beds were comfy and bathrooms well appointed. The owners are very welcoming and breakfast was perfect This isn't a carbon copy hotel, it is a characterful country B&B and very good value for money....

Sorry for the delayed review - had problems with it being logged to the wrong account originally. I feel strongly enough about the experience at this place that I wanted to post even a few months late. Note of course that issues may have been addressed by now. We booked the Marlborough suite to attend a party nearby. The house...

We spoke to the very welcoming owner when we left the accommodation after one night. He was very gracious and welcoming of feedback which we have given. I would urge potential guests to find out whether these issues have been dealt with before booking a stay here.

We booked this B & B after we had seen the website as we were so impressed with the photos. We were staying overnight on our way to the New Forest on the eve of my 60th birthday. We were greeted by the owner who was friendly enough. However, we were very disappointed with the room. The bed looked like...
