We had spent 2 days on the property with our family members. As per the covid protocol they did everything well. Especially the food was awesome and the service people are very happy to serve. The evening DJ with games is also very enjoyable for all kids and adults.

This resort was a surprise find while searching for a resort on the way from Bangalore to Kerala. Plenty of activities like kids boating, outdoor/indoor games, campfire, group games with MC, morning walk etc. Staff are pleasant and happy to help and the property is well landscaped. Some cons are rooms a bit small and some dishes needs improvement.

Overall time well spent. 4.5/5.

A calm resort to spend time with friends..If thats what you are looking for..Sandalo could be a great choice.Pool facing rooms with birds chirping ,a pool to jump in the day, with tea plantations around you...What else do you need to laze around n detox ? Activities were planned for family in evening with a bonfire. Clear sky for star gazing at night. A few things to improve....Service could be faster...We felt a bit hot n humid at night...Adding ACs could be a choice or make rooms so that air circulation is better.

Great location at the centre of tea estates and a great set of staff led by Babu who work hard to please . The resort itself is a little too small to even qualify as one and hardly has any amenities for large family outings . Food is average at best with limited choices that are made to suffice for a meal but nothing to write home . Went there as a large group and regretted it as soon as we walked in . Go here only if you are looking for a cheap quick getaway and don’t mind the lack of privacy or rooms that smell musty . Pics have been clearly photoshopped. Only saving grace is the staff who do everything they can to please . The management clearly lacked intent while designing the rooms. It’s a good place but not with the 7 hour drive from Bangalore. Does not help that it’s in the middle of the man elephant conflict zone with you getting warned that there could be elephants anywhere you walk outside the resort that was also a mood kill .

The reception area and restaurant were lovely and the food was great. The setting was really beautiful with great views and pool was lovely. The cottages looked lovely from the outside but were quite tired inside and quite damp. Appreciating that they were left unused during covid. Nice stay despite torrential rain!

Good tidy place, with a beautiful view of the tea gardens and a small water park within. Staff is courteous and friendly. Good veg food. Non-veg was not well cooked. Overall a good weekend getaway. Kids will enjoy here as they have pool and kids play area.

We had travelled a week back with family and had 3 rooms. Property is located amidst tea estate views which was the only plus other than . Below average sized rooms. No AC only fans throughout property - rooms, restaurants, lobby etc.. It was humid and uncomfortable. Breakfast was not worth the money with limited spread. Food taste was average and cold mostly. Out of two swimming pools one meant for kids was non functional, the other was heavily chlorinated with cheap powders causing skin irritation. The hospitality was good to compensate for all above flaws but the property left lot to be desired.

This place is quite new and is made with good planning. It has limited number of cottages (guess 15) and that's the advantage for those who want less crowded place for a family time. It is in the midst of tea gardens and has good cottages with swimming pool in front of cottages. You can have a cool time with friends or families (it has meeting rooms too for business meetings for about 30 pax). Excellent service with ready to please staff. They arrange evening games for guests which keep all entertained (there is little to in the evening outside the resort). They also arrange for morning track in tea gardens and evening hike (strictly for those who are physically fit as it is demanding).
The only this they can improve upon is food options. Being in Tamilnadu with strong Kerala influence, the food is not every palate and with not many al-a-carte options, it becomes a challenge (especially for strict vegetarians).
Nearby you can go for sightseeing places (ready to get disappointed for morning safari if you go to see elephants or tigers)
Overall a great place for family vacations.
Must try once,

Had visited this place with family for a stay. It is a wonderful resort with a fantastic view. The rooms are well equipped with all amenities. The ambience is great as shown in the pics. Sarvesh and Ramesh, the Guest relations manager were very cordial and resourceful. Food was excellent, credit goes to Phillip, the chef and his team. The staff was very helpful-anish, thandril and others. A place worth a visit!
