We stayed for 4 nights. Great location on the beach and convenient for all our day trips around Haida Gwaii. Close to the Ferry landing. Nice clean "snug" room with a great home-made breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Nancy was a very friendly and helpful host.

We spent a week on Haida Gwaii mostly up in Masset and stayed at Spruce Lodge the night before catching the morning ferry back to Prince Rupert. This is a very rustic little place in a really nice location and it reminded me of lake front cabins/cottages from the 1960s. It had a genuine and authentic simplicity. We enjoyed our...

If you're visiting Queen Charlotte City I'd highly recommend this place. Can't beat the location, the hospitality or the views. Very reasonably priced, quiet, simple and clean and a great place to relax. Nancy is a gracious host. The bald eagles provide entertainment every night. A great place to call home base while you explore Haida Gwaii!

We stayed for three nights at the end of July. We had the large room facing a large lawn, so while we had only a side view of the water and could not sit out on the deck, the size of the room made up for it. Our unit had a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, couch, easy...

Stayed here for 3 nights while working in the area. Nice view of the water (it's on the beach), and you can watch sunrise from your deck and walk around the beach to see sunset. Breakfast delivered to your room at whatever time you choose. I had a regular suite with a coffee pot, kettle and mini fridge. I had...

Have stayed here several nights coming and going on Haida Gwaii and plan to return on our next trip. A gracious host/hostess is one of the most important ways to make a trip away from home a happy one. Nancy is warm, friendly, extremely helpful, and makes you feel welcome. The rooms are quite spartan but adequate and very clean....

We are staying at the Lodge as one couple in a room and a family of five in the three room apartment. Everything is clean and well kept. Nancy our host is flexible and gracious. The beach is outstanding with lots to walk to when the tide moves around. Breakfast is a simple fruit and bread affair with coffee or...

We stayed two nights coming in and later in the week as we were leaving. I can't imagine a better view to wake up to. Granted, we had beautiful weather, but the sunrise was stunning and the beach is right there for a great walk. Both rooms are adequate and no-frills, but clean. The kitchenette lacked some essentials so bring...
