As I spent my weekend at the lodge I often wondered what they could do differently to improve the experience. I came up with nothing. Everything was phenomenal. A true costumer experience. We even "fished out" a few behind the scenes staff such as the boat mechanic and filet master and they were as professional and accommodating as the hosts...

QCL knows service. Every little touch has been thoroughly considered. After a long day on the boat you step off to someone handing you a warm towel to wipe your hands. You make your way to the bell ringer to enjoy a cocktail and listen to all of the fish tales from the day. Great people, great experience, great food.

I stayed on the Driftwood from Aug8-12 and had an absolutely phenomenal experience. The fishing was world class, the food was outstanding, and the treatment by the entire crew (literally everyone!) made you feel like you were there to be impressed. I have been to lodges before in the area and staying aboard the Driftwood was definitely a different "feel"...

The only problem with this trip was that I gained a pound from eating all the good food! Our room was very clean, up-to-date, with a wonderful bathroom and, being a woman, that is very important to me! Our guide, Paul, was just our style; he was knowledgeable in all areas - fishing, boat maneuvering, bear watching (!), whale sightings....

This is not your typical outpost lodge, it is a Mecca! The food is top notch, classy accommodations, incredible service, and beautiful women constantly making sure your drink was full. I have been many places but the organization and teamwork of this staff surpasses 5 star expectations. The boats, fishing equipment, and guides were awesome; if you get one named...

Stayed here August 8-12, 2016. World Class Fishing and Lodging. The guide was first rate and no issues at all. Biggest down to this resort is that the food is so good you will gain 5 pounds if you come. This is a man's paradise for sure.

I had the occasion to join a group of 12 friends and business acquaintances for a trip to QCL from Aug. 5 - 8. The winds on the fishing grounds blew consistently the whole time from 25 - 35 knots plus and made for some stimulating boating, but we still caught fish. No one in our group left empty handed,...

Its my 6th visit and my wife and I are still dreading having left the quiet sounds of the woods and calming roll of the sea....and the food and spa are the perfect way to end the day.

I have been visiting this place for over 15 years and although the fishing has never changed the small tweaks they make over the years just makes it that much better. The service is outstanding and so is the equipment. The food is also just excellent. They do need to change out the out-going eggs benny as they have had...
