We really were not certain what to expect but were more than pleasantly surprised with the setting of the resort. Bennett Bay is a gorgeous spot. We had a queen room in the lodge. Compact ( for sure ) but certainly comfy. It met our needs for a 4 day stay. Every room/ cottage/ cabin has full view of the...

Hello kauai4us I think I am Awestruck at your review. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our resort. You touch on nearly every important item potential guests should know. There are lots more island things to do but I would just say that one additional very important item to check out is Lighthouse park, at...

Thank you so much to Mayne Island Resort. It was a fabulous weekend that went by way too quickly. So quiet and peaceful. Very clean accommodations which was a nice surprise seeing as we were in the "Pet Friendly" villa! No sign that any animals have been in there. Can't wait to go back with friends ASAP!

Hi mswrldtrvlr, The pleasure is ours, thank you so much. And I am glad you found the pet friendly Villas to have no sign of pets being in them. The cleaners work hard to clean our units and they will be proud when they read your review. Yes please come back again soon and bring friends. Villas sleep four and...

Just got back from a mid week getaway to Mayne Island resort, we were totally blown away by the beauty and hospitality of this little gem. This was a social shopper coupon that got my attention, and proved to be the best decision ever. We stayed in a ground floor villa that was modern, very clean and had a beautiful...

We enjoyed getting away for a quiet stay on Mayne Island. Highlight was a hike in Mt. Parke Park - steep but with a gorgeous view. The Resort was OK but not great - old building, small room with creaky floors but a nice view. For 200.- per night breakfast could have been more than toast and jam only. No...

My husband and I stayed at one of the villas back in January 2016 for 2 nights. We bought the deal from Groupon. When we arrived we had requested a pick up from the ferries, as we did not bring our car. During the ride to our place, we were given a brief tour of the islands history. We were...

We stayed in a ground floor villa. Beautiful view and surroundings. Large patio with table and chairs and gas bbq. Well equipped kitchen, including a micro. Bathroom has heated floors! Bathtub not quite big enough for two. Comfy king size bed. No tv in the bedroom if you want that. Pool, sauna and hot tub are nice. Didn't have time...

Rooms very small in the main lodge. Advertise exaggerated online, with the picture and expectation. Very very clean, staff awesome. Not many amenities open on off season. Bakery is great and opened at 6 am, perfect for catching early ferry. Would definitely come back to Mayne Island. Fun to drive around or use the handi car stop areas to catch...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Georgina Point Lighthouse is a very historic site. In 1794 Captain George Vancouver camped on Georgina Point where his crew left a coin and a knife found over a century later by early settlers. The lighthouse was built in 1885 making it one of the oldest on BCs coast. I...
