My third visit to Taku and each time it gets better. One will never tire of the ever changing vista across Rebecca Spit and over the Coast mountains. It looks different at every glance. Then there is the seal constantly swimming near the log boom and hopping onto the boom to suntan, the otter on the dock, the blue heron...

In early spring, we spent three nights one weekend at Taku in one of the cabins. The weather mostly cooperated, some rain with sunny breaks and absolutely beautiful views. This was our third time to Taku and we'll be back again and again. The cabins are comfortable, clean, well-behaved dog friendly, and they're set-up for relaxation and rejuvenation. Kitchens are...

Wow SueSteve604, thank you for the incredible review! And thank you for coming back to Taku time and time again. I'm speechless as you covered everything in your review. When you come back next you'll most likely notice quite a few changes as, I'm sure you saw, we are undergoing big renovations. Thank you! Elizabeth Wong

Stayed in a cute A-frame oceanfront cabin. The cabin is plenty large for a couple and would accommodate a few extra people as there is a sleeping loft ( that sleeps, at the most, 4 people) but it is a bit cramped. The main floor has a queen bed, full kitchen, bathroom, dining area and living area. The sofa in...

Dear kauai4us It's true, though the experience is unique when mother nature throws us days of rain, it is a very different experience if the sun is out. Your review of the Beachfront Cabin and all it has to offer is accurate. We are exploring some creative ways to include a bit more hanging space. The cabin loft is a...

Great little cabin overlooking ocean and Rebecca spit. Sit on your deck and watch the ferry come and go to Cortes island, Eagles, seals and just the waves. Cabins are quite adequate w all the amenities that u need. Even your own BBQ. There are adirondack chairs down by the water for you to sit and relax whether reading a...

Our family gathered here for my Mum's birthday. It was the perfect spot! Right on the water over looking Rebecca Spit. Otters sunning themselves on the dock, birds doing a flyby and even an eagle in the tree. Perfect place to relax. Your options are many- go for a walk, kayak, play some basketball or go for a swim (the...

Dear Suelovesquilting, Thank you for your superb review, you've definitely described all of our highlights. For family vacations like yours there's enough space for everyone yet the family is still close enough to have a lot of fun together. Next time you come you must try taking a dip. If it's too cold you can always run straight up to...

I wanted a quiet get away for my birthday and had never been to Quadra Island. We have stayed at a lot on resorts, but this by far has been the best. We rented a beachfront cottage as we have a small dog. This resort is so quiet and tranquil. We were steps from the beach and as much as...

Dear Carlinne T., Happy belated birthday! We're happy to be able to host you for your birthday getaway. I couldn't agree with you more, our family often gets stuck playing on the resort instead of exploring all the things the island has to offer. We're glad you felt right at home, that's our goal for all of our guests. Thank...

What an amazing place! I love this resort. Definitely, my favorite so far on this special island. Whatever your preference, there is accommodation here to accommodate you. We stayed in the lower beach house which was lovely. For those that like the comforts of home, it is modern with unbeatable views. Very well appointed full kitchen with granite counter tops,...

My wife and I stayed two nights in cabin #3. The cabin sleeps six but we had our dog with us and the cabins are pet-friendly. Due to the low season our stay was very reasonable and quiet. Instead of hopping on a plane and flying all the way to Italy we went to Taku Resort this past weekend and took an Italian cooking class with Chef Gianfranco Mosca and his wife Sommelier Daria Dosselli. We just returned from a 2 night stay in a Beachfront cabin at Taku resort. What an awesome location with beautiful views. No TV and unpredictable wifi were actually a real treat!
