We booked this b&b on the strength of its tripadvisor reviews.Who can resist a mystical, magical retreat that promises peace and serenity - and gnomes to boot? What we experienced was a gloomy, oppressive and cold atmosphere that had us craving sunshine and light. Obviously, gnomes are not for everyone or maybe they are an acquired taste.

We advertise our B & B as being in a “Forest Setting”. Sorry, not a lot of sunshine & light in a December forest on the West Coast.

Had a great experience at Gnome's Hollow. Was everything we expected and more. Beautiful scenery, a very woodsy feel.. we were nestled right amongst the forest with rock, waterfalls and birds just outside our window. Along with a hot tub, not every forest has that. Ha. Our hosts were gracious with their hospitality but like any good host they only...

My wife Lynne and I, along with our lovely flat coat retriever "Tasha", spent 3 glorious nights at this magical abode. A gem in the case of our warm hosts Tania and Dave....and of course "Jaegar"....the friendly keeper of the castle. The other gem being the island that is Pender. We've never had such a relaxing stay than at Gnome's...

Thanks Bernie for the kind words. I'm sorry to say that you won't see Jaegar on your return stay with us, as he went to that great "Sand Beach" in the sky last December. But we have two new girls that would just love to show Tasha their new totally fenced in yard, and play ring-around-the-log down by the lower...

My wife and I stayed at Gnomes Hollow for 3 nights in July, 2013. Gnomes Hollow is a beautiful property tucked in at the end of a quiet lane on Pender Island. We had the garden room, which looks out on the wonderful water feature, which we could hear from our room. We fell asleep to the peaceful sounds of...

We had such a nice relaxing stay at Gnomes Hollow. The hosts were kind, friendly, and welcoming! They made us feel relaxed and at home. We enjoyed our stay in the Garden Room, which of course, had a beautiful view of the garden and waterfall. We made good use of the hot tub, which was so relaxing after our long...

I went to Gnome's Hollow with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday for the weekend. The pictures online made it look extremely relaxing and romantic, so we were eager to experience it for ourselves. We were pleased to see that the B&B was exactly like the pictures-in fact, even better! We used the hot tub constantly, which overlooked the beautiful...

We have just returned from a most restful and wonderful stay at Gnomes Hollow Dave & Taina were most welcoming it was little details like bringing you tea or coffee to your room in the morning to relaxing in the hot tub late into the evening. It was an Oasis away from the stress of the real world laying in...

Really friendly hosts and a great location among the mossy forests of the Northwest. The decor is also fantastic, being highly original and interesting and not tacky like a lot of B and Bs. The fact that it had a hot tub was a huge bonus as well.

Dave and Tania were the hosts with the most as they made me feel entirely welcome and helped me to relax fully from the stress of the outside world. The beautiful log cabin, nestled in the rain forest of Pender Island, abounds with atmosphere. There are breath-taking vistas on every corner of the Islands, as I observed deer, eagles, herons,...

Dave and Tania are great people with plenty of stories. The service from the very beginning is fantastic. The guest lounge is a great place to relax next to the fireplace, playing games or reading from the wide selection of literature. The hot tub was great, while the surroundings were even better. Breakfast was consistent with everything else I have...
