My mum-in-law and father-in-law treated my husband and I to a "minimoon" on the night of our wedding at the Merrill Inn. The Inn is right in the heart of Picton and close to shops, restaurants, and cafes. The Inn itself is well kept and very welcoming. We arrived quite late after our wedding (around 1:30am) and were greeted by...

We just stayed overnight at the Inn. All the staff we interacted with were very helpful, friendly and informative. We had dinner at the cozy dining room and the food was delicious! Breakfast was also quite good with a small buffet and your choice of a hot breakfast option. While the building is quaint the particular room that we stayed...

We decided to venture here for the Thanksgiving weekend and overall had a very pleasant stay. Our wine and dine package included two breakfasts, dinner, picnic lunch, and vouchers to sample wines at two local wineries. The restaurant located in the basement of the inn had plenty of charm and accommodated about 24 guests. It is definitely a five star...

We've been staying at the Merrill for many years and always enjoy the hospitality of all who work there, the dinners (meat is really prepared well here) and the comfort of the room we usually book. Creatures of habit - perhaps, but this is the sort of inn you want to go back to. The fact that so many of...

Wow! I actually asked if I could take the chef home in a doggie bag. The fact that I felt comfortable enough to even say that jokingly says something about our experience. A small restaurant at the bottom of some steep stairs in a large, old B&B, it comes highly recommended by both Trip Advisor and close friends. Reservations are...

My wife and I booked a two day Wine and Dine Package at the Merrill Inn. We had a very enjoyable two days. Our dinner was outstanding!! Breakfast, although limited was very good. One hot breakfast item which neither of us had and a very acceptable breakfast buffet. The picnic lunch was very good, we combined it with a glass...

We stayed for two nights at the lovely Merrill Inn. The inn: - historic home with interesting architecture, antiques and art for purchase on the walls - incredibly hospitable and polite staff - located just a few minutes walking from town - probably only about a dozen guest rooms, lovely sitting room and small gift shop, with several nice outdoor...

Lovely small property - very clean, great attention to detail, well decorated and quaint. Didn't get a chance to have dinner there - we unfortunately didn't make a reservation, but breakfast was delightful - not your average 'breakfast included'. Will be returning in the fall - close to everything in Picton - walking through the charming Town of Picton is...

We booked this room based on tripadvisor rankings and the Inn's website. We expected more, especially considering the cost of the rooms. The description of the rooms and the pictures on their web site paint a much more luxurious picture than is the case. There is no central air, no coffee or tea in the room, no bar fridge in...
